Group of 20 and we had phenomenal service from beginning to end. They stayed on top of everything, not extensive food wait times,’everyone’s orders were all made correctly. Menu, completely different and just the best options on menu. Great presentation, clean, amazing vibe and nice atmosphere!!! The waitresses worked really hard and did well. The food was all cooked to perfection, season PERFECTLY! Dessert was also amazing. The Brussels sprouts were definitely my favorite of it all.

BLOWN AWAY!!! From start to finish, we were so impressed! One of the best culinary experiences we’ve had in this area. The interior design of the place was jaw dropping, they even have a piano behind the bar. Hannah and Chance took great care of us at the bar, the drinks were delicious, food came out on time. My husband and I only get date nights every once in a while so we will definitely remember this one. We didn’t have a reservation and were able to easily get a seat at the bar around 7:30 on a Sunday night. We were immediately greeted by Hannah and we watched Chance absolutely KILL it in the service well while still taking care of us. I had the Filet Mjgnon and my husband had the New York Strip, we both agreed they were the best steaks we’ve ever had. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK CHOPHOUSE 285!!

Today was the first time to try out the new restaurant. We went for lunch. It was so delicious. Ally H was our excellent friendly server. I had the beef sliders which melted in my mouth. My friend had a delicious chicken sandwich. The cocktails were so delightful. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend this nice addition to Englewood!

Exceptional food & service. Drinks were incredible. Food was top notch. We had the onion rings – sous vide onions = best I have ever had. Also had the Pork Belly Reuben, Ultimate Corned Beef & Smothered Onion Burger. Everyone was impressed with their lunch & we had leftovers. Nice portions. Can’t wait to try dinner.

Last night at Chop House 285 — Englewood’s brand-new sparkly little show-off — was an absolute hoot from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the place buzzed with warmth, energy, and just enough glamour to make you sit up straighter and pretend you’re terribly sophisticated (even if you’re about to order a second martini).
Speaking of which… we sensibly began at the bar with martinis (clearly champions of responsible decision-making), then sashayed off to our table for steaks — and honestly, the food was utterly magnificent. Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and the sort of meal that makes you briefly consider cancelling all future cooking plans.
Our waiter Jacob was an absolute star — charming, attentive, endlessly patient with our giggling frivolity, and genuinely made the evening feel special rather than rushed.
And then there’s the joy of supporting the Farlows, who do so much for our Englewood community. It feels extra lovely spending your pennies somewhere that gives back and genuinely cares — good karma tastes even better with a great steak.
All in all: fabulous food, wonderful service, a joyful atmosphere, and just the right amount of delicious mischief. We are utterly thrilled to have this new restaurant in town and will most definitely be back — martini glass at the ready.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-notch. Anna waited on us and was amazing — very helpful, friendly, and always on top of everything, which made the evening even better.
We ordered the tomahawk, filet mignon, and ribeye, along with several sides and appetizers, and every single dish was cooked to perfection. Perfect temperatures, incredible flavor, and beautiful presentation — exactly what you expect from a high-quality chophouse.

Had an exceptional dinner at Chophouse 285. I always like to try new restaurants out especially after seeing all the cry babies come on here and whine how a brand new restaurant isn’t absolutely perfect in the beginning. We got the bread and spinach edamame salad for starters. Salad was well dressed and everything went extremely well together. All the bread dips and butters were great and the bread was fresh. I got the Denver center cut as it’s a unique cut you don’t find in many restaurants. The wife got a filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfect with a great sear. All the sides that everyone cries are expensive (these were personal not shareable) we thought were huge and able to share between two people. The Mac and cheese was okay the breadcrumbs were a little much. The carrots and sweet potatoes were awesome and the mashed potato’s were some of the best I’ve ever had. We got the chocolate bread pudding dessert. The raspberry was a little overpowering. You need some kind of dark chocolate or something to balance it out but it was still great. The ambience is fantastic and our waitress was great. We will definitely be back.

We came in for lunch not realizing this place had been open less than week! Had a great experience. It’s super stylish and modern inside. Welcoming and inviting while also upscale. We came in wearing jeans and sneakers but if I can back for dinner I’d dress up (but would feel comfortable if I didn’t!!).
Food was excellent all around. Our group had a crab cake appetizer, tuna poke, mushroom confit salad and the Al pastor chalupa. Also there was a really nice wine list.
I have a gluten allergy so am gluten free and it’s clear they are still sorting out that aspect of the menu. But our server Denise was amazing at following up with the kitchen and figuring out what I can do because there was hidden soy sauce. All the salads can be gluten free and the steaks and sides are also GF. I was pleased to find out most of the cerviche and tuna poke were GF. I’m hoping in the future they might mark their menu to make it easier. But lots of choices for GF folks.
Looking forward to coming back. Much needed spot in Englewood!!

The wonderful beautiful steak house it’s unbelievables right from the time you walked in the door to the time and sit down The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous great decorations lighting beautiful colored floral type rug and The bloody Mary and black raspberry sangria drinks are the best I’ve ever had the Spanish Caesar salad is to die for. The appetizers Italian meatballs with focaccia bread was very good also the empanada it’s a buffalo chicken in a pie crust that was so good and now main course was Chateaubriand that was a 18oz very flavorful fabulous steak for 2 we have ever had and the broccolini and loaded baked potato was also wonderful and for dessert we had was the chocolate bread pudding ala mode with walnuts vanilla ice cream with
honey roasted chocolate cherry sauce.. here are some photos!!!
