What needs to be said immediately is that Chop Suey has amazing food. The staff speaks English and Spanish and are very friendly. The tea is always hot and the egg rolls are crispy. This is by far our Chinese food place to go restaurant. When we dine in the phone is ringing off the hook for Take-out and Delivery. Must haves are the Mongolian Beef and Special Fried Rice plenty of Parking Spaces available.

It’s hard to find good Chinese food in Miami, but I’m lucky to have stopped in at Chop Suey. They have a great $7.95 lunch and $10.95 dinner specials with over 15 options. The food is always fresh. It’s so well flavored and the portions are very generous. I ordered the honey chicken lunch special and it was obvious that it was made fresh. I pulled the bread away from the chicken to see how much chicken was inside and was pleasantly surprised to see a good amount of chicken unlike the usual Chinese restaurant with mostly breading and hardly any chicken in their honey chicken. Oh and the egg rolls and special fried rice are very very tasty. Service is nice and fast. Dining area is clean and very spacious. I’ve been here twice and I’ll definitely be back again.

Food was ok and only ok, service was less than ok, $40 for two people take out just a little pricey, for that money I can buy good food. Don’t think I’ll come back.

The portions were great the food looked amazing and affordable…then they brought the water…with a dead cockroach. I don’t need to keep writing…I will leave this here. I walked out…

The food tasted pretty good, and the closest to authentic Chinese food we can get in Miami. One thing to watch out for is the tax rate. I believe it should be 7% in Miami but this restaurant charged us 8%. I’m from out of town, but been to other restaurants all charged 7%. Not sure why this restaurant charged higher. This is why I took one star off.

General Tsao’s was insanely sweet. It tasted like literal candy… not in a good way. Lo mein was tasteless. I also afterwards saw that at least FOUR prior diners had cockroaches in their food/drink. Never going back.

Avoid Take Out! We ordered chop suey and got nothing but filler. There was no noodles at all. The rice was ok but the service was poor. When we called to let them know about the serving they rudely brushed us off to speak with the cook. This place used to be good.

I’ve order the special Fried rice #47 for $20 feeds 6 people easy. Not greasy, he’s alot of shrimp, bbq pork, chicken, and ham. Also had the special Chow mein #38 super super good. Served my rice first then the chow mein on top, add a little duck, soy sauce and its a wrap. They also have this sponge, angel round cake for $5. It is not on the menu but ask about it. Great to eat afterwards or whenever with cafe con leche.
