I ordered the chicken with Jollof rice and it was Amazingly delicious. My kids had chicken egusi and fish egusi with FuFu and they loved it!
I did my search through google and yelp and I am so glad I did. They are super fast! Their menu is simple but so good and tasty! Loved every bite! I highly recommend!

The food is really good! I would especially like to come back during a cold day in the winter to warm my soul with the food here. I definitely want to go back and try other dishes. I didn’t take the most flattering photos (the photos are not the full serving either, just what I served myself. I’d say the portions are a decent and fair size), but don’t let that dissuade you; The egusi soup with chicken and fufu, jollof rice with chicken were both very flavorful and delicious Whomever gave a 1 star is either doing a disservice or didn’t try the food!
Take out only at the time we got our food

I recently catered an event for my Making of Modern Africa class using Chop Chop West African Cuisine, and the entire experience was extraordinary from start to finish. We ordered peanut soup, a half pan of chicken, futu, and vegetarian jollof rice and everything exceeded my expectations.

The team went above and beyond in every possible way. Kingsley delivered directly to my campus, offered a discount on delivery, brought extra serving supplies, and even helped set everything up in my classroom. The care, professionalism, and generosity were remarkable.

And the food? Phenomenal. The moment students started eating the chicken, the whole room filled with delighted groans, students literally moaning because it was so good. Multiple students commented that it “fell off the bone” and that it was some of the best chicken they’d ever had. The peanut soup was like drinking my favorite sauce. The fufu and jollof rice were also great deeply appreciated in a class centered on contemporary life in Africa.

This was one of the best catering experiences I’ve had. I cannot recommend Chop Chop West African Cuisine highly enough for the food, the service, and the heart they put into everything.

Chicken Peanut Soup is DELICIOUS and I don’t even like peanuts! I drove from West Seattle today to get this dish bc even though I don’t ever seek out anything with peanuts, I saw Chop Chop on TikTok and thought it looked fire enough to try. INDEED IT IS FIRE! Only thing is this is solely a take out restaurant so I had to wait to get home to eat it. No complaints. Go get some and I know you will agree!

I’ve pre-ordered the Jollof pan and Peanut Butter soup pan. Oh my goodness! I wish the chef was right by me. I would have tipped him again. The food tastes so delicious!

I ordered food from Chop Chop West African Cuisine for the first time today, and it was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I ordered beef jollof rice(they mentioned they didn’t have enough beef, so I was given chicken along with my beef). The rice was not properly cooked. It did not even look presentable at all. It was not edible, all the pieces of rice had clumped up together, and had a very strange taste. I could not eat more than one spoon.

And the beef tasted stale, was not fresh at all.

Why should you treat customers this way? Why give a customer this type of meal??

Super sad about the egusi I purchased 2/16. The egusi was full of oil, too many seeds, very salty, and to top it off my fufu wasn’t cooked well. It felt like mashed potatoes not firm at all and very grainy. I would like a refund since uber eats says I have to take it up with the establishment. I still have the whole plate and fufu as well…I’m willing to bring it all back.very upsetting aver paying 30+ :/

To be truly honest. To spend $185 and my Okra stew/soup was watery and the egusi did not have palm oil and was not cooked well as it left a weird after taste. I know how real authentic Ghaninan food is suppose to taste and this fell short of my experience.

$185 got me- all.medium size bowls
3 egusi
1 peanut butter stew/soup BOMB
1 Okra stew/soup
1 Jollof Rice w/chicken

Servings enough for one person
