I went there today. The lady that was behinds the counter was fabulous. I told her I was a picky eater, but wanted to try something new. She was able to offer me some tiny samples (because it was super slow at the time, as it was just me at the time as I was waiting for my friend). The food was good, but I’m too picky to new tastes. Between my friend, my test order, and the samples I tried 5 different foods tonight. I will come back another time and have my next normal orders. Thank you so much for being so friendly and accommodating. This is a must stop on your list to eat at.

This place is absolutely amazing, located right next to the SEATAC Airport Rental this is my favorite last stop before leaving Seattle. From what I can tell it’s family owned, the staff are very polite. Portions are big so bring a friend or date. Tom Yum is the best, the crispy chicken was also a great choice, Definitely a recommend.

The only reason this didn’t receive a full 5 stars is that after we got seated we waited for quite some time before our server came back. We were getting close to leaving. Once she returned, she did offer apologies, but stated she forgot about us.
Apart from that, no complaints! The restaurant itself was warm and inviting. The food was amazing and prices were fair. We were so hungry and the food so delicious that I forgot to take photos of the food!

The prices are decent here for food, not much of an atmosphere, for food near the airport and if you’re on a layover here, I’d suggest coming here if you have a couple hours.

If you find yourself around SeaTac International Airport and the environment, please do yourself a favor to visit Chontong Thai Cuisine. Food here is made fresh to taste. Starters i had Chicken Satay , for main course Tum Yum Tofu and Shrimp then Thai Tea to wash it down. Prices are reasonable. Overall everything was really good. I will come back again and again.

My fiance and I were visiting her niece in Seattle and we’re staying near the airport (SEATEK) and found Chontong. None of us ever had Thai food so we decided to give it a shot.
Boy am I glad we went here. The food tased amazing. The meal sizes were plentiful. The atmosphere was lovely.
Note to reader: the spicy level is very subjective. My fiance and I got a 2 (on a scale of 1-10) and it was quite spicy. Even the waitress said she can’t go above 3!!
I would highly recommend Chontong to any passers-by or even locals. Please keep in mind that the prices on Google are NOT accurate. The dishes are ALL at least $5 or $6 MORE! That would be my only negative.

Such a cute place that was quite close to the airport! I had my pad see ew taken out and by the time I eat it in the hotel, it was a little soggy but the flavors are still great. Dining in would probably have been much better.
Anyways, the only person who was working out in the front was such a sweet and friendly lady. She started out a little conversation even though I was only there for my to go order.

I was the 1st customer of the day, so the vibe was peaceful and comfortable. Good soft music, super clean, just relaxing. Beautiful decor. Food was fresh, tasty and well seasoned. I got the green currency and ginger tea. Veggies crisp, pork tender and not overcooked. Perfect welcome back to Washington after early am flight. Amazing and friendly service. Will be back.

came again to the chontong Thai with other 2 people for dinner at 6 pm on Sat. No reservation but no problem. Parking is front of the restaurant. Inside the restaurant is a good atmosphere and clean environment. A lady always lovely and nice smiling. There were a few customers in the store and seats were available. First we ordered appetizers Platter. I wanted to eat a pan fried wide rice noodles but out of wide noodles. So I ordered Pad Thai w tofu and Red Curry w chicken. All the dishes were easy to eat and tasted good. we want to come again.

Delicious Panang curry and incredible mango sticky rice!! Honestly the curry came in these really aesthetic bowls shaped like a leaf or something but I think it took the portion size down from other places we’ve been to. Really good though!
