I have ate at Chongs for years and have always loved it. The egg rolls ha e gotten smaller and sometimes the press chicken doesn’t taste that great but I still love it. I usually get food to take home, big family cheaper that way. Buffet for 7 people compared to dinner for 3. Dinner for 3 pretty much feeds is all

Food was well cooked and tasted great. Wonton soup was really good compared to other restaurants I’ve been to. The dried rice and egg rolls were well prepared. The selection of dishes available on the buffet could have been better. The lighting inside was very dark. They need higher wattage light bulbs to dine by.

The buffet makes this place worth going to, particularly when you get carryouts. If you get a “buffet to go,” you are allowed 1 serving of every single item on the buffet. This means that for 8 dollars, you will end up with roughly 3 pounds of food, which can easily feed 3 or 4 people. It isn’t the highest quality food or anything, but it’s tasty enough for the price. The owners and their family that work there, aren’t very friendly, and at times, can be quite rude, but typically your server will be helpful and polite. Luckily the owners and family usually only work the checkout counter up front.

Fantastic service. Great food. The buffet is the major attraction here, but the menu is filled with delightful selections.

We had an absolutely terrible experience the other day.The food has never been “great” but for the price, I can feed my large family and they can eat what they want. This is the absolute worst the taste and quality the food was. The noodles had so much soy sauce on them that they were the darkest brown you can imagine on pasta. The ham fried rice had a weird overpowering sour aftertaste that made you immediately spit it out. The won ton soup was the best. I will never be returning to this establishment. They have lost my business. I urge the owners to go into their kitchen and watch the chefs store, prep, and cook. Or take a class. They are not that expensive and you will know when things are wrong. Because it is your cooks. No matter how long they have been there doing the same thing. People feel safe and get lazy.

Great. All the buffet was fresh and hot, with a good selection. Best Chinese food in town. Better organized and displayed better than most & friendlier.Cleaner than most restaurants.

Me and my boyfriend went for my birthday , and was impressed with how nice the waitresses were. But once we got the food from the buffet is was absolutely disgusting. I had one tiny TINY bite of everything on my plate and couldnt eat anymore and my boyfriend ate maybe 1/4 of his plate and felt sick. There was something definitely off about it all. The waitress we had was so very sweet and understandable and very apologetic when we complained about the food but (im assuming the owner) was SO very rude about it and said we shouldn’t have gotten that much food (uhm im sorry i thought I came to a buffet ) and made us still pay $20 for the both of us when i didnt even hardly touch my plate. She didnt even apologize that we were unhappy with HER place of business. We were very unsatisfied and will NEVER ever step foot in that place again. HIGHLY not recommended !!!

Have been going here my whole life. It has its good days and bad days. Great variety at dinner small variety at lunch. Most of the waiters are fantastic. A couple of them are not, overall a very enjoyable experience, other than Chins there is none better with price and quality. Keep it up Chongs!

You never know what you’re going to get. Sometimes it’s great. Most times it’s either no flavor or everything tastes the same. My son wanted to TRY a noodle. So knowing he wouldn’t eat it I gave him one. ONE. I guess they just sit and watch because they charged me an entire buffet for one noodle he spit out. And wasn’t allowed to bring in food for him to eat. They’ve chased me out of the building when my husband was paying and I walked out screaming “You pay! You pay!” Funniest and most infuriating experiences I’ve had have been here. $7.99 lunch buffet $9.50 supper buffet.
