We recently hosted an event, and I cannot say enough about how helpful Ms. Chuing, the owner, was in making it all come together. From the beginning, she worked closely with us to plan out a menu that perfectly suited our needes, and every dish was a hit! Having been in the business for many years, Ms. Chuing’s experience truly showed, both in her hospitality and her knowledge of the dishes.

The chef really outdid themselves, creating a variety of wonderful dishes that each stood out in flavor and presentation. Unlike many other places where the flavors can blend together, here, you could taste each ingredient distinctly. The textures were also just right, making for an exceptional dining experience.

We’re already planning our next visit! If you’re looking for an authentic and memorable Chinese dining experience, with exceptional service and food that shines, look no further.

Our lunch at the Chong Yet Yin Chinese Restaurant in Mt. Airy was very enjoyable. Both my wife and I had the hot and sour soup. For our entrée we had the San Shien Wor Bar which included shrimp, chicken and beef along with vegetables. The portion size was generous and the service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to a future visit to the restaurant.

Please do not waste your time and money here.
$45 “whole Peking duck” ended up to be 2 halves of a sliced quarter leg and 2 halves of a sliced wing with a massive piece of lettuce underneath to make it look bigger. Very dry and far from being tasty.
A “very friendly” woman on reception was saying that someone else had already picked my order till I manually pointed her to my order located next to her.

Middle of the road chinese take out.

Egg drop soup was warm but not hot. No steam came off of the soup when i opened the container (we traveled 8mins from the restaurant to home). Not a winner.

Egg rolls were tasty. Good amount of veggies inside. These were winners.

In a to-go box of General Tso’s chicken: 8 chunks of chicken and steamed rice. Add the egg roll and a small egg drop soup to make it a combination and get charged almost $13. For that amount of money i was expecting a bit more chicken. Not a winner.

Customer service was exceptional. They best have it be top notch if they continue to have food that is lacking.

My order was completely wrong. Ordered pineapple shrimp and got chicken. Asked for hot sauce or red Chilli oil and it wasn’t included and after taking a few bites of my general tso chicken began feeling queezy only to look down and my chickenwas pink and severely undercooked. Will never be back. Please stay away .

-Update to business response.

I never asked for anything free. A business should detail the cost of the item requested and not just ignore the order. I’ve never paid for condiments in the past from other establishments but would have been happy to pay whatever cost to have my meal prepared the way I ordered it. For you to insinuate that I would want anything for free and that I’m not a business owner is highly offensive and shows the lack of respect you have for your customers and is why my new face will never show face in your establishment again. Reviews don’t hurt a business a review is simply a reflection of the service provided and the goods rendered. Try working on your customer service and valuing your customer.

The beef and broccoli had more juice in it than beef and broccoli. Downright soggy. It was appalling. The orange chicken was way too citrusy. Tasted like the put actual peels of oranges which makes it have an overpowering taste. Low mein was very soggy as well. My whole bag upon pickup was wet because all the food had too much juice! This is the closest Chinese restaurant near me so I decided to give it a try. But I prefer driving 25 minutes to Frederick to get the best Chinese food from Modern Asian Bar.

Their orange chicken made me puke everywhere. I have a strong stomach. I am writing this after it happened. I don’t know if I need to go to a hospital or not. I have not ever gotten food poisoning. It tasted like they put orange cleaner on it. October 24th 2020.

We ordered online, in the note section I had placed Fried Rice & No vegetables. When I got home the dish had white rice along with the vegetables. When I called to try and fix the order, the woman kept talking over me and wouldn’t listen to what I was saying. She finally tells me to bring in the container with the vegetables she exchange it and if I want fried rice I can come in order it. At this time I no longer care for any of the food. Fried rice cost extra and I didn’t mind the up charge. I’ll go somewhere else for Chinese food.

The negative reviews are not accurate at all. The food was delicious and the owner was as sweet as can be. She took the time to talk to me and answer a few questions I had. Started a new job in this area so I’ll be popping in on a regular basis. This is a wonderful spot.
