We tried Chompies for the first time today. First, let me say it was hard to not order everything on the menu. The sandwiches were piled high with meat. They were delicious. The bagels had a wonderful chewy texture just like a New York bagel ahould be. They make their own cream cheese and we had a sampler of 4 of them. They were all amazing! The original had a great texture, the honey walnut was my favorite, the honey was light and the walnuts were a nice texture, the garden veggie was a light flavor and not over powering, it was lovely. The almond strawberry was nice, though I don’t love almonds, The flavor was spot on. The service was just right. We were there at 2:15 so the lunch crowd was leaving and it was a perfect environment. I ordered a toasted marshmallow coffee after our meal and it was a perfect ending. The caramel was a little strong for me and I would order a shot of espresso in it next time but that is just my preference. If you want a New York style deli and bagels this is your place. The market attached to the restaurant has all kinds of goodies from bagel and cream cheese to a large assortment of desserts. We tried a cream horn and eclaire. Bakery and restaurant! I was sold added bonus was my new york Yankees!! My mom took me here after my dad passed and he liked it here being that he was from New York. I must’ve ordered everything in the bakery. Mom had the pastrami and I had a slider. Food was great, staff was wonderful and the atmosphere was my heart.

IMHO, this is the best NYC style deli this side of the Rockies. The sandwiches are huge. The corned beef rueben was moist and tender and had the perfect amount meat-to-fat ratio.

It was our first time in and the experience was absolutely amazing. The food was great I got the Scottsdale cragel and loved it so much. My husband got something with smoked salmon I’m not a fan of fish but I tried it and it was so good.
The staff was incredibly friendly as were the other guests and the atmosphere was very lively. The noise was a bit loud from so many people but not to loud that you had to raise your voice to talk. They also have an area to dine that is like a no talking zone so it was very quiet and relaxing there.
I do also have to honor the pickles that were brought out. I’m an avid pickle hater but I’m always willing to try new things and I went back for a second bite they were so good if a little salty but didn’t have the super strong vinegar/dill taste
10/10 definitely recommending to everyone I know

Please bring back your traditional lox bagel without the egg and potato pancake. It used to be amazing! I was charged a fee to have those items removed from my sandwich, making it over $20 for a single lox bagel….

Chompies has always been one of my favorite delis. The Reuben sandwich is the best! The breakfast with pancakes are always great. I always pick up a dozen bagels with cream cheese at the deli Connor when I’m done with my meals.

We didn’t have time to dine in, so we grabbed a couple of bagels to go—and they were amazing! We ordered the New Yorker but ended up with one that had salmon instead. Honestly, no complaints—it was absolutely delicious.
The Scottsdale Stacked Cragel was a total monstrosity of deliciousness. Massive, packed with flavor, and super satisfying—you probably won’t need to eat again for the rest of the day after tackling that beast.
Quick service, great flavors, and a perfect grab-and-go spot. Definitely worth a stop!
