Used to love this place, we would stop by every trip (there and back) for years, but they have changed the menu and the recipes and portions don’t seem the same either.
For instance, they no longer offer items like gator nuggets or frog legs by themselves – they are only in a basket with fries and a very tiny side of coleslaw and they give less gator nuggets than they used to.
The Mac and cheese used to be an all time fave, but they seem to have changed that recipe because it was so watery and not super cheesy like it used to be.
We skipped stopping here on the way home after a complete disappointment on the way up.

I like the professionalism and the speed of service. I ordered a large combo meal. The drink was large, but the portion of fries was not. I did not enjoy the flaky fries. I prefer cut fries or steak fries. Even crinkled fries work. These tasted cheap. The burger also tasted cheap. You can tell that there was no seasoning mixed in and that this was not fresh meat. You just sprinkled salt and pepper on top. There is difference between a burger from Checkers or Sonics versus 5 Guys or a non-franchised burger joint. It was definitely just a frozen patty. The menu had a lot of variety on it. So I will definitely try some other items. Consider changing from patties to actual ground beef that you season and used to make smash burgers. I already feel sick from all of the filler in that burger. Try the burger at Cottage cafe and use that to improve yours. No shade. Just honesty. Got a double. I ate half and could not continue.

Previously a fan of their PB shake. Ordered and paid for a $6 shake of 32oz. Asked for a PEANUTBUTTER half vanilla chocolate base. Tasted like straight chocolate with extra ice. Disgusting and Over priced for a premium shake that I ordered and didn’t get.

Your pickup lane isn’t advertised well the changes. Pulled up and employee had back to windows then noticed pickup so drove around.
Frequent customer yearly for 10y and was 15mins down the road before i found i had been switched. . I live hours away and had oral surgery last week been on a soft food liquid diet. Was looking forward to and very disappointed

Don’t waste your time coming here just paid way to much for what tasted like a soy patty burger and some nasty fries. Also waited like 20 minutes on the food! This place used to be good but it isn’t anymore.

What a great little restaurant! We have passed by many times saying one day we will stop in. You need to stop as well…you will not be disappointed! Huge variety on the menu from Alfredo to gator!
We had the patty melt and brisket sandwich. Both are super yummy!! We also had the deep fried pickles, fried green tomato’s and fried mushrooms. All are made fresh from scratch you can definitely tell by the flavor! Cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable. Super fast service!! All our food was hot, fresh and delicious!! One of my all time favorites for sure!

Best milk shakes around for best price, however…. They used to have literally the best chicken tenders ever they were soaked and dill pickle juice. They were right up there with. Chick-fil-A the last time I got them. I couldn’t even eat them. I threw them out. They’re totally different now and they suck. I tried twice thinking it was a fluke. Girl told us everyone is complaining about them now and to leave this review!!

Gee whiz!! My folks and I spotted this fine joint on our journey and pulled over because we were absolutely famished! Pulling up reluctantly, we didn’t know what waited in store for us. But…WOW! This was absolutely gourmet! I could not believe the whimsical taste of the Rachel sandwich! After trying a fried oreo from this spectacular establishment, I would rather jump off of the earth than eat a plain normal oreo again! The gator nuggets, though seemingly intimidating by the name, shocked me with their divinity!

Stopped here after a late check in at the cabin in Fanning Springs State Park. We we hungry and did not want to drive far. We ate inside, small but clean. Not expecting much, we were pleased with our cheeseburgers, fries and iced tea. The burgers were a decent size and juicy, not overcooked as they often are and the bun was fresh. The fries were nicely cooked and hot; the iced tea was fresh. The cashier was very pleasant and delivered to our table. The 2 cheeseburgers, fries and iced teas were $15. The menu is fairly large and we would not hesitate to stop by again and try another sandwich.
