(Edit: Sadly, Chompers BBQ is no longer in business.)This was our first visit and the owner was very friendly and explained the dishes to us. We had the full rack of ribs which was very tender. Also ordered the Cuban sandwich, which l enjoyed. For the amount of food you receive, this is a good value for your money.

Superb food and homemade pickled delights. The French fries are fried and seasoned perfectly. My kids actually liked the pickled onions and enjoyed the ribs. My daughter thought the chicken tenders were the best she’s ever had in her life. They have really tasty sauces including a tangy vinegary North Carolina mustard sauce. That said, the food is so tasty I rarely want to Mess with the flavor by adding a sauce.
Parking is easy, online ordering is available, kids are welcome and this is a very welcoming place to sit, relax and enjoy well made food.

Ordered the two meat platter – really surprised at the overall look. Green beans were super peppery and soggy, pork was dry, but the brisket was tender and moist. The sauce was not bad but not memorable. Ordered a side of bbq beans – they were little better than room temp and did not have a memorable flavor – even a bit “cannish”. For $17 I expected something more…I will try again and see if maybe it was just an off night.

Outstanding! I had a $20 Local Flavor coupon that was going to expire. Got 1 lb. of pulled pork and 1/2 lb. brisket to go. Both were moist, tender, flavorful and just outright great. They gave me one of each of the 4 sauces; I tried them all and they were very good too. I didn’t order any sides. The family running the shop were very friendly & helpful. I will be going back again.

Pretty good, didn’t have white meat chicken for the 2 meat platter. Didn’t care for the original BBQ sauce but the owner was accommodating and friendly. My buddy got the brisket sandwich with the Mac n cheese and he said it was awesome. I’ll try that my next visit.

I wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars. The ranch dressing is amazing and has a hint of thyme in it. I purchased the pickled carrots as I was leaving and everyone in my office is raving about them. Everything was flavored so well and everything was so fresh. The wings are amazing! The skin is so crispy and delicious. I have been there twice and have been impressed both times.

Absolutely phenomenal every time. The Old Settler’s beans are sweet and spicy, loaded with meat, perfectly seasoned. The pulled pork is some of the best pulled pork I have ever eaten in my life. The burgers are rich and meaty, they’ve got some creative combos too. Dinner and lunch specials, too. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Brisket is outstanding, ribs could be meatier but the dry rub is awesome. Sauces are good too! Those with a big appetite should get the chopping block burger, it’s a load of different meats, cheese, and everything else. Nice owners/employees who actually take pride in their work.

We came to Choppers from all the wonderful reviews on Google only to find out that we haven’t been loyal to this local business. They’re scheduled to close October 22nd. Sorry to see them go. The food was absolutely delicious had the rib and brisket plate and my friend had. Pork sandwich. We loved every bite of it.
