as someone who has tried almost the entire menu at this point i can confidently say the food here is top-tier i’ve never had a meal that disapointed me. and that kind of consistency in a restuarant is rare these days.
the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing the flavor are consistent , the portion are worth the price, and the quality hasn’t dipped once- not even on their busiest days. You’re not just eating food here; you’re eating something that was prepared by people who understand flavor; technique, and customer satisfaction.
i proudly recommend this place to friends, family, co-workers, and honestly,anyone who will listen. they’re earned every one of those five stars.

The Elevator and Airplane Finder
I stayed a night in Chesterton recently and decided to look around for some dinner. Chomp came up on search and it looked really good so I decided to stop by.
Came at around 4:30 PM on a Thursday and they weren’t too busy. The guy who took my order was nice and the overall vibe is modern and clean.
I got the Philly Steak, my partner got a Pastrami on Panini bread, and we also shared an order of the buffalo chicken fries (we initially were going to get tots but they ran out just before I got there, rip). All around, everything was phenomenal! The cheesesteak was juicy, cheesy, and cooked to perfection. The Buffalo chicken fries were great too! Decently hot on a spice level, fries were crispy, and the overall flavor was good. My partner said the Pastrami was great but also huge and very filling. They didn’t finish it all lol.
Overall, if you’re staying in Chesterton looking for a good sandwich stop, Chomp is a must! I’ll come back if I’m in town again.

We ordered a pastrami sandwich meal & a cheesesteak meal. The sandwiches had hot warm soft bread stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat. HUGE! The French fries were so crispy on the outside and soooo good. Also had a fresh made mango lemonade (delish). We drive 25 minutes to see what everyone on facebook was talking about! Well worth the trip. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Very accommodating and pleasant man. We will be back!

Grew up in the Philly area and found Chomp while looking around. Had the original philly cheesesteak and was very happy with what came out (I was confident based on the other reviews and pictures I had seen). I’ve gone to too many places that offer a “cheesesteak” where it is nothing like a real philly cheesesteak. Chomp nailed it though, by far the best cheesesteak I’ve had outside of Philly! Ill certainly be returning to try the other menu items.

My daughter had leftovers in the microwave that smelled damn good. I asked her where she got the food from, and she told me about this place. Damn good food!!!!!! Good portions also. Just needs a lil bit more seasoning on the philly steak. Other than that, 10/10!!!

Husband follows you guys on TikTok and we were up this way so decided to stop by. We will definitely come back and drive the 45 minutes. Service was great, food was great. Daughter had the triple cheese steak. I had the chicken pesto and my husband had the philly cheese streak hotdog and chomp hotdog.

CHOMP in Chesterton is delicious! The pesto in the chicken sandwich was fresh & tasted amazing! The food was made and presented nicely. The strawberry lemonade shake up was good. The team members were very friendly & helpful! We will definitely be back. I want to try the Hot Philly I heard a lot of great things about. The owner is also very friendly and seems to be involved & good to his team members. The great relationship shows with the vibe and love cooked into the food & given from everyone there.

I checked this place out without my kids because frankly they are picky and if it wasn’t good, I wouldn’t have wasted as much on it. But WOW! The sandwich I got *chicken ceasar* and fries were frankly fantastic! The sandwich was huge! They also grilled some parmesean into the bread which gave it a little extra something! The place is cute and fun inside with some murals that have a tagging vibe. I liked the inside and it looked very clean. I ordered at the counter *online available as well* my sandwich came out fast and perfect! Highly recommend this cute sandwich place, but bring an appetite!

The moment you step inside, the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. But let’s get to the main event: the food.
The Burger: Perfection on a Bun
I ordered the cheese burger and it was perfection. The beef patty was clearly made with high-quality, freshly ground meat, perfectly seasoned, and given that ideal crunchy sear without losing any of its amazing juiciness. Every ingredient tasted fresh and deliberate.
The Fries: Crispy, Fluffy, Flawless
Often, fries are an afterthought, but here they are truly a co-star. These were hand-cut, hot, and somehow achieved that elusive balance: shatteringly crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. They weren’t greasy at all and had just the right amount of seasoning.
From the quick service to the immaculate flavor, it truly delivered an A+ experience. I highly, highly recommend if you are in the Chesterton area to stop by and try this place. You won’t regret it!

My husband went and picked up some to go food for us. I got the cold Italian sub, and he got two polish sausages. Mine came with a bag of chips and his had the choice of fries or tots so we got one of each. The polish sausages would have been better if they were actually cooked properly. They weren’t hot in the center, so he had to microwave them. And, we weren’t 100% sure, but the Polishes seemed more like hot dogs. The size, casing, and overall flavor just seemed more like a hot dog.
My sandwich was decent…there was a generous portion of meat and cheese, but there was also a generous portion of red onion. O.o I like onion, but holy moly. I had to pick a lot off, and in doing so, I realized there was barely any lettuce. Luckily, I had some in the fridge that I added on. So, after all that, I was finally able to eat. The tots and fries were cooked well and tasted delicious. Overall, it was fine, but am I going to rush back? Unfortunately, no.
