The owner received my husband and me with welcoming energy while helping other guests. The small coffee shop is charming and has a French radio station playing background music.
We had two cappuccinos, grilled cheese, and a chocolate croissant for breakfast. The drinks were excellent, with good foam texture and balance between coffee and milk. The grilled cheese had the perfect melting cheese. The croissant had the typical super light layers that French pastry usually has.
It is a cozy and family-owned place worth a visit for some delicious French patisserie.

My son was in the mood for a crepe, so we tried Chocolatine based off of their Yelp reviews. We were greeted in French by our lovely server (I believe the owner) who helped recite the menu for us, since our AT&T cellphone service did not work inside to view the menu. I ordered the Today’s Special bacon quiche du jour and my son ordered a Nutella and strawberry Crepe. The quiche was delicious, fluffy eggs, and a flakey crust. Yum! It came with a nice side salad with a mustard vinaigrette. We ordered some macaroons and a crème brûlée tart to bring home. Everything tasted fresh and delicious…We especially loved the tart!
I loved that we were greeted in French, it made me feel like we escaped to France for lunch

Chocolatine is a really neat French cafe, with a really nice ambiance and friendly staff. Unfortunately they do have a policy of closing their kitchen 30 minutes prior to closing so I was not able to order any food, but everything looked delicious! The mojito soda was great, I’m surprised it isn’t a traditional flavor here. There are a handful of tables inside and 2 outside however it does get very sunny in the front in the middle of the day.

What a petite Gem of A cafe Right by my $20 massage place on TO Blvd.
there’s a busy street taco joint next door. I bypassed the noisy crowds and enjoyed a lovely sandwich and iced latte here @ CHOCOLATINE!
Very reasonable ! Charming chef and waitress. They even speak French!
There is a panoply of desserts baked in house. Macarons , cookies, chocolate tarts, croissants !
Be sure to take some cookies to go.
The atmosphere is zen and perfect even on A hot summer day!

Cozy and nice small French patisserie and restaurant. We had the pleasure to meet and be taken care of by the owner, and that definitely made the experience more enjoyable. Got coffee, a couple of croque-monsieur and sweet crepes…delicious!
