Nice little gem in Milford for cookies, pastries, candy and ice cream. The staff is very nice and the location has so many treats to choose from. The strawberry ice cream was very good! We also had the chocolate strawberry cake for our daughters birthday and it was excellent! The chocolate cake was perfectly moist with the sweet out strawberry frosting. I highly recommend this location!

This place is incredible! The homemade ice cream is off the charts good. The owner is super affable and accommodating. they also have espresso and espresso style drinks, and high-quality chocolates and confections.

I was lucky enough to meet the owner before she had a shop, when she was selling her delicious confections at the local weekly farmer’s market. Double lucky that she opened a store close to me. Triple lucky that she has expanded what she offers to so much more amazingness.
I cannot hope to review everything I’ve had, so here’s a sampling of several years of scrumptious joy:
* Savory pastry: My favorite for lunch is an amply-sized tender turkey & havarti folded into perfect buttery pastry layers.
* Party cupcakes: I like to get several different amazing flavors – the cupcakes are big enough to halve or quarter so everyone can try a few.
* Fancy tarts: perfect for a solo splurge or to share over a special meal.
* Big box for the department party: My co-workers never failed to demolish every crumb when I brought a mixed box. Some favorites are buckeyes, 7 layer magic bars, truffles.
Are they cheap? No, they are not. You don’t want cheap! Ingredients are high quality. Preparation is careful and consistently delicious. Staff is helpful and friendly. And every single product is really, really, really good. Like I said before…

We have gotten multiple cakes, many cupcakes, cookies, pastries and everything has been delicious. My cannoli cake birthday cake was great, my husband loved his strawberry shortcake birthday cake. Pistachio eclairs are out of this world. The cutest themed sugar cookies for each holiday that taste as good as they look. M&m cupcakes are also a favorite. If there are any issues with anything, they will always make it right. We love this bakery, as do many others in the area, and we will always be back!

Amazing bakery with lots of amazing sweets! So much to looks at and choose from! From hot coco bombs to huge cakes and pies, to decorate your own cookie kits, they have it all! Huge selection of single baked goods, cupcakes, truffles, gingerbread cookies, biscotti, magic cookie bars, pecan bars and so much more. Wonderfully decorated for the season. Only reason I gave four stars was the price, one decorated sugar cookie was $4.50, way to much for just one cookie. Stop by tho if you’re not on a budget, everything looked super yummy!

This place IS A DESSERT FROM HEAVEN!!! I called to order THE CREAM PUFF.. for my girlfriend for her birthday. That’s all she wanted… I walked out with a lot more…lol. I drove an hour and ten minutes to get here and it was worth every delicious bite! She had one in March at an AirB&B in Finesville and was in HEAVEN!
I surprised her for her birthday and she was so excited to have this again! The service was wonderful and despite the fact that there was a very unappreciative child in the shop with her mom, she was actually yelling at her mom, the woman working was so nice. THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM!! We will be back! So worth the drive and even dealing with that bratty kid! lol

Each thing I try at Chocolate in the Oven is the best. Cheesecake bar? Best I’ve ever had. Eclair? Best I’ve ever had. Brownie? Best I’ve ever had. You get the idea. They really know what they’re doing.

Oh BOY! Nothing but a great experience with this bakery. They went above and beyond in decoration, timing, and their overall service to help with our gender reveal! Plus, the cake is absolutely delicious.
We’ve previously gotten a birthday cake from here that was also amazing, too. We will absolutely be going back for all our future baked good needs.
