A Cozy Spot at My Favorite Crabtree Kitchen + Bar’s Sister Café
Crabtree Kitchen + Bar is one of my all-time favorites, and their sister café, tucked away on the first floor of the same building, has become another place I love to visit. The space is bright, airy, and all done up in calming whites, with plenty of room between tables so you never feel cramped.
They also sell chocolates from their own chocolate shop, and honestly, I can never leave without picking some up to take home.
This time, I tried the chocolate banana crêpe and the lemon berry crêpe. Both were lightly sweet, letting the natural flavors stand out. The berry compote was so delicious that I wished I could buy a jar to take home — I just know it would be amazing with yogurt.
Their menu has plenty of sandwiches and other light dishes, making it a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch. I often see people having business meetings there, but it’s also such a nice place to just relax on your own.
Whenever I come by, I switch off my phone and enjoy my coffee, tea, and a quiet moment to myself. If you’re looking for a spot to slow down and recharge, this is the café I’d recommend.

We recently toured ChocMo and got to see the bean-to-bar process up close… what an incredible experience. The craftsmanship and care that go into their chocolates are unmatched, and you can truly taste the difference. The truffles, caramels, and specialty bars are all phenomenal.

I also have tried an assortment of this establishments chocolates and as a dark chocolate lover, I am in heaven. All the products sold here are high quality- from the Espresso to the chocolates. They have some really unique and fun chocolate flavor combinations.. I’ve yet to try their food or pastries but I’ma tell y’all it looks bomb lol looking forward to trying it one day.

This place is a hidden gem! Located conveniently next to HWY 3, it has ample seating, a peaceful atmosphere, high quality coffee, delicious food (with good prices) and excellent chocolates. It hits all the “A+ Coffee Shop” requirements, in my opinion.

My husband really likes the coffee & breakfast menu here. He said the breakfast sandwiches are really yummy! We also really like the pastries! The cookies are delicious. But, tonight we got dinner and it wasn’t so great. I got the salmon crepe & he got the Cuban sandwich. The portions were quite small and I couldn’t bring myself to eat more than a couple bites of the salmon. It was a weird color & texture. They had it pre shredded like tuna. Definitely check them out at breakfast time though!

I love everything here. The coffee is great! They have decaf option and dairy-free alternatives for milk. The food is equally good, everything is well made and delicious. The staff is also very friendly. It’s always clean and cozy. I simply love going there for any occasion.

Drove frm Silverdale area to try their crepes. Was super excited since places serving crepes are few & far btwn. Got a Chai Latte, banana & chocolate crepe & an assortment of their chocolates. Didn’t start off the best; after ordering was informed they’re out of bananas. Bummer, but not a huge deal. Sub for strawberries. Recvd my drink. Literally the worst Chai Latte Ive ever had. Taste like steamed milk with maybe clove undertones (?), but in a burn your throat way, not a good spice way (I drink Chai regularly so def know what its supposed to taste like). The crepe was nothing special. Not enough filling, quite “slippery” & unfortunately the strawberries just weren’t hitting the craving. Def needed more choc filling.
I shared the chocolates with my family. None of us were impressed. Very bland, little to no flavor. How this is accomplished in chocolate (not sugar free or a special diet type) is beyond me. Maybe I just like a lot of flavor?
Glad I tried them, so now I know. Cant say Id recommend them, sadly.

Went there for a pastry and a drink. Got a chocolate tart ganauche and it was perfectly sweet and soft and crusty too. The cherry Italian soda was okay but good. I would come back for more food.
