mixed feelings about the overall experience. food was good and there was a lot of meat assortments which was nice. i picked out a tomato based broth and the tom yum broth which was more teriyaki flavor— both were great. what i really liked though was their bread/dessert section (first image) i highly recommend the egg tart!!!
i felt like that’s where you see more of the “cultural” dinning show since it’s actual asian sweets.

anywho, what makes my review iffy is that i didn’t like how i felt like i was under constant supervision. i understand the waiter has to come around to constantly check on our broth level to refill, but it was way too much for my liking. it felt like i was being watched to see if i would do something wrong? even then, the waiters are friendly.
…please be sure to ask the waiters how much you have left on your 2hr eating so you can portion out your food courses !

First time trying out Chocho and it was a great experience.

We came on a Sunday and our server was Kelly. Kelly was amazing, explained everything very well and was very attentive. Ordering was really easy and the variety was great. The ability to have a split pot is unique as well for a personal pot.

There are meats on the menu and premium seafood options (oysters and abalone). The rest of the seafood, noodles and vegetablesare on the market table.

There are also additional hot foods like dumplings (shumai, shrimp dumpling and bbq pork buns). Everything is really fresh and flavorful.

Would recommend making a reservation if you have a larger party.

Thanks to Kelly for makng the experience great! And glad to meet a fellow Once Bonus pic of Momo from the Twice concert added to this review for her ❤️

Absolutely loved this all you can eat hot pot spot! I got the mushroom and spicy broths were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Ingredients were super fresh, from marbled beef and seafood to a wide variety of veggies and mushrooms.

The buffet setup was clean, bright, and beautifully organized with tons of options, plus a great sauce bar to customize your dips. Don’t miss the dim sum and molten lava buns for dessert. The only improvement I’d suggest is making the labels on the glasses clearer they’re a bit hard to match right now.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and everything stayed well stocked. Easily one of the best hot pot buffets around and I can’t wait to come back!

We arrived around 5:00 and were seated right away with no wait. The food was fresh, and the service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very clean and had a new, modern feel.

If you choose the spicy soup base, keep in mind that even the mild level is quite spicy, so be careful if you’re sensitive to heat. Everything tasted delicious and well-prepared.

The only small issue was that by the time we were ready to leave, the restaurant had become quite busy, and it took a while for us to make our payment. It seems they could use a few more servers during peak hours. Overall, a great hotpot experience with quality food and a pleasant atmosphere.

First of all, from premium name and premiun price? Nothing premium at all. It feels pricey. We are driving 3hr+ to dallas and pick this place among few options due to self service, but not really. Half and half.
Starting from the host, kinda lack engagement, has no energy and speak too soft. Didn’t bother to ask if it was our first time or not. I get that some mindset think, ‘ah, that’s server job, not host.’ But as first point of contact, that’s important, especially if the customer asked what do you think the best here and the answer oh i am not sure, your server will answer that. Also didn’t have any clue about the broth either.

Server part.
Basic and neutral. Not overly or less friendly, kinda flat abit. We did say it was our first time here when she asked, but that’s all. Again, no engagement, don’t bother to give recommendations especially when we pause for few moments to see if she will say something. I ended up asking all the questions, which some got no answer. So i got spicy broth and pork broth. My husband got pork and tom yum broth.
First time ever happened here. Our broth was switched and didn’t realize until the meat was cooked and we were ready to eat. I dealt lot of different restaurants pos, i also dealth with not technology restaurants, as customers and as managers, these were never happening. Please do some improvement in seating arrangements or seating code in the pos or ticket, so whoever delivers the food didn’t make such mistakes, because same thing happened to others as well that came not too long after us. I was disappointed when tested my brother sour, which happened to be tom yum.
Server, again very basic, she got 3 table to take care and not even busy night, but for some reason we order this and that, we waited and need to asked her several time. Bummer! I asked for the spicy paste for my broth, it never came. To refill drink, same, we need to repeat several times. She is fine but not good enough for the supposed to be in premium ayce hot pot. Lack of attentiveness, agility and attention. If full house yes i understand, if she has 10 tables to take care, i will definitely understand that.

Food part.
Broth? Spicy one good, can taste the peppercorn. As the regular pork broth, it was very bland, that’s why i need the same chili paste to make it spicy, which never came.
Tom yum was decent, but too strong on sourness and the rest bland.
Meat options were decent, but again premium title made it feel even less premium. Only good part is anybody looking for halal, this place separate the halal and regular ingredients in their self serve station.
Sauces variety were okay. Surprisingly light on flavor. Usually any hotpot place i go, it’s quite strong.
The thing that i like was the black bun with runny egg yolk and the peach gummy candy.

Overall overpriced for what you get. The meat is good quality and they have a variety of sides available at the bar. In my opinion the soup pot is much too small and difficult to cook items without spilling. Also their plates for the side dishes are small too — it’s like they don’t want you to eat too much! Service was good and they make everyone a home made concoction for dipping. A bit of a performative act and they don’t really care to ask for taste preferences, so the sauce ended up being wasted for our table. I also searched high and low for regular soy sauce but it seems they only have a gluten-free and a house special option — though that’s not likely to bother most people. I likely won’t be back as there are hot pot places with better value out there.

Super adorable, clean, and well-kept hot pot restaurant with a great variety of seafood, meats, and vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The service was good, and the food came out quickly, which made the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot for hot pot and definitely worth checking out.

It was my first time here tonight and I had a really great experience! Andrew and Jun were our servers, they were both very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They provided great service which allowed us to have a positive experience here. The interior was very well decorated. It blended boho, chic, and Asian designs nicely. We had reservations for 3 people at 7pm, and were seated almost instantly. The price ranges around $50/pp not including beverages. They did have a wide variety of drinks from crafted cocktails/mocktails to milk teas, soy milk, sake, and draft beers. We tried their sake, milk tea, and grape cocktail, all was good. They offer a good selection of broths: pork, spicy schezuan, tom yum, sukiyaki, etc. I tried the tom yum (has a coconut undertone, which was listed on the menu) and the pork as half and half broth. I enjoyed both flavors.
They offer a great variety of self serve items: seafood, halal meats, vegetables and desserts.
I definitely recommend trying their egg tarts and lava buns. Surprisingly their complimentary soft serve towards the end was very dense, creamy and tasty! I ate the entire thing even though I’m lactose intolerant.
Their premium meat cuts were definitely a good thickness for hot pot. I usually always end up disappointed in ribeye cuts but theirs turned out to be one of my favorites along with the beef shorts. Their quality of meats lived up to their title of being premium cuts.
I really appreciate their halal options, they provide the certificates for the meats and butcher, which is very reassuring.
They also make a house sauce for you at the table with the option of adding spice.
Their restrooms are very clean, which is always an important factor for me.
This restaurant is family friendly and can accommodate large groups, that being said it’s up to the parents to manage their own children, not the staff. So please train your children to dine in public settings!
Also we noticed the staff here performed very well, and if they were under any stress or pressure it did not show. I can tell it’s being managed well.
Highly recommend to give ChoCho a try!

Soup bases were great, and there’s a good variety of meats and ingredients to put oe dip in the soup. You go to the small buffet area to grab your ingredients, but unfortunately everyone goes to the buffet as well so it gets quite busy and crowded there. But the atmosphere is very nice and service is wonderful. Soup bowl is kind of small compared to other hot pot restaurants but they do refill it if needed.

This has become my top favorite hot pot places. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious ( %surpassing my expectations). And it’s great for vegetarians!! Highly recommend bringing your vegan and even gluten free friends.

After living in NYC for so long, not many hot pot places here can compare. But this one can give a couple places up north a run for its money. You each get your own individual pot and you can choose between a single or dual soup base. The tomato and spicy broth are delicious and flavorful (without overloading on salt and msg). I also like that it’s a buffet style where you go get your own veggies, seafood and even cooked varieties like noodles, curry and dim sum. For dessert, their vanilla ice cream is so basic but for some reason it’s my favorite.
