I really don’t like to give negative reviews, but this time I just gotta do it. The food wasn’t fresh. The lamb had the weirdest smell, it was soaked in a special solution to eliminate the spoiling smell. Few years ago(last time I was there) it was one of the greatest Chinese food in the area. So disappointing.

«On March 8th, we went for a walk, and at Chosen Garden restaurant, I ordered a dessert. After dinner, I started feeling very nauseous; I got food poisoning. I found out that they do not make the cake themselves; they buy it, and it’s unclear when it was purchased. Although it looked normal, it was not fresh inside. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore.»

This location was once among the top spots in Queens for Chinese cuisine and remains quite good today. However, the service has declined, especially after the recent price increase. Perhaps the owners should instruct the staff that tips- whether 14% or 15%- are simply gratuities based on service quality and attention. Staff should refrain from shouting at customers or demanding higher tips, and should not ask for cash tips while other diners are present. Such behavior is disrespectful and unprofessional, and it tarnishes this establishment’s reputation.

If I could give zero stars I would, but I can’t so I’m gonna leave it at one star ⭐️. This place is the worst Chinese food restaurant in Queens. The service is ridiculous. They treat you like they’re making you a favor as if they don’t charge enough. The food is horrible. The price is outrageous. They make you feel like shit. This place is disgusting. They never answer the phone. They should just go out of business or sell it to somebody who cares about their customers who cares about customer appreciation who cares about customer service or what it is to give a customers a good experience in their place absolutely horrible I would never ever come back here ever again. You guys are the worst disgusting place. ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ P.S. ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE.

Love having this kosher Asian food option in Queens. Food is tasty and portions are very large. They have a good prefixed meal option for around $30 bucks (includes soup, egg roll, entree and dessert). Service was slow but understandable since they were very busy. I loved the chicken with mixed vegetables most!

Portions are nicely sized and the food tastes pretty decent. The soup tasted rather old though. The waiter was demanding a larger tip which was rather rude, but apparently this only happens at this location. I would recommend this restaurant, but I would say you can have a better experience at the other location.

Not as expected
Smells bad, i believe it is not fresh. They use old cooked chicken in their fried chicken rice. For the money I paid there, (so expensive) i could go some Italian seafood restaurant!!!

We had a very pleasant experience here. The staff were all friendly and courteous. They were very kind and patient with my children. The portions are large. The food was fresh, tasty, and looked great. They gave my kids as much noodles as they wanted, so they could dip into the sweet and sour dip. Throughout dinner, the staff checked in with us if they could be of service. I am very satisfied with the service and meals.

What a shame! This used to be the absolute BEST Chinese restaurant in all of the Queens. Bold statement, I know, but FACTS. Now, it’s absolutely horrible. It was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had….EVER. The menu was filthy, the service was so slow, the food was absolutely horrible. The waiter actually steered us away from a dish with Broccoli because it’s frozen not fresh. My beef dish was so overcooked, which concerned me because it came out so fast. We used to frequent this place because everything was so fresh, it was Kosher, and cooked perfectly. Now I don’t think anything is fresh and there’s no possibility that it’s Kosher. Stay away.
