Great authentic Korean food, love the Banchan, LA Galbi, Pajeon. Strong delicious flavor that is a must from Korean cuisine. Recommended

PS: The reviewer “T” below should just eat at McDonald’s

Great Korean restaurant. Everything we had tasted good. The short rib was thick, tender, and delicious. Their kimchi jigae was one of the better ones in the DFW area, and the seafood soon tofu soup was also up to par.

For their sides the japchae and cucumber I really liked. Their kimchi probably isn’t the very best around but was still good.

The speed at which they brought out our food was really impressive and everything still seemed freshly cooked and hot.

The only issue was that there was spilled soup on the floor next to our table which wasn’t very pleasant.

Nice clean restaurant with pushy service. Communication was a problem. They weren’t that busy, but I sure felt rushed. They were not that flexible. They did not answer menu item questions very well. We did not have a fluent Korean language speaker in our group. I’m not big on Korean food. My party is. I liked that they had squeeze bottle of gochujang sauce.

I was wanting a clay hot pot and we found it here. They call it Hot Stone. We ordered the vegetable and green onion pancake- delicious! The short ribs – delicious and the bulgogi with vegetables in a hot stone bowl. We started with the fried dumplings which were great as well. The bowl was good but I really liked the other dishes better. Would order the short ribs again!

First time experience at this restaurant, upon entering with my significant other, the establishment was clean and up kept. we were seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon while waiting waters are brought out. I ordered the Korean short rib 10 out of 10 and my significant other order the Bulgogi 10 out of 10 all the side dishes were very flavorful 10 out of 10 they also bring out side dishes of rice to go with your meal. We would definitely be returning to this location. Please bring family /friends or if you’re on a date and you don’t want all the Korean BBQ smoke on your clothes. This is a amazing restaurant to try out. They also have marinated crab, which I really wanted to try but will next time.

Bulgogi so tender and sweet each bite felt magical. naengmyeon also hit, enjoyed the vinegary and slightly sweet tone. Tofu soup and side dishes also great. Overall great spot for good Korean in Plano.

Cho Dang Village has a much more updated and modern atmosphere compared to their Carrollton location, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The food comes out pretty fast, which is always a plus, and the staff are genuinely nice and attentive. Overall, it’s a great place if you’re looking for good food, quick service, and a welcoming environment.

Decent price for good soondubu! There’s a variety of food on the menu. Service was fast.

I’m from Chicago so I kinda compared this to our SGD chain.

Based on the service and ambiance it’s a 4. For food, only 3.

I came here hungry, and Chodang Village did the job—my stomach was satisfied. The server was excellent—quick, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed, from a napkin and fork to getting the check right on time. The place itself was clean with a nice, cozy ambiance and comfortable seating.

The food, though, didn’t really wow me. It was decent but not memorable. Lunch was a bit pricey at $20+, especially when there are other places with cheaper options (though those often serve blah food). Still, if you’re looking for a neat and clean spot with good service, this place works.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I absolutely fell in love with it! It’s a small, cozy, and very clean spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sometimes these hidden gems are the best—and this place truly impressed me.

The food was excellent, both in taste and portion size. Everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the short rib soup—it was rich, hearty, and so comforting. The tofu soup was also delicious, with just the right level of spice, and the grilled mackerel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor.

I loved it so much that I brought my family and some friends from out of town back with me on my second visit—and everyone absolutely loved it! They were just as impressed with the food and the cozy atmosphere. I also ordered take out a few times as well.

You can tell they care about quality and presentation, and I really appreciated how clean and well-kept the entire place was. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers on both food and experience, but this one truly does.

I’m already looking forward to coming back again and trying even more from the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a satisfying, home-style Korean meal in a relaxed and welcoming setting!
