The restaurant is really clean and nice, feels fancy but the price is reasonable, food comes fast and delicious. Staffs seen not very friendly but they are actually very sweet and helpful (if you familiar Korean family restaurant you will understand).
We went there for dinner around five so it’s still kind of empty but after 5:30 the restaurant gets busy really fast.
We ordered the combo 2 and bibimbap, and they both so yummy, flavorful, and we still have a lot leftover for next day.

I recently visited Cho Dang Tofu and had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. I ordered the Seafood Tofu Soup, which arrived bubbling hot in a stone pot, along with a bowl of rice and a piece of fried fish. As expected from a good Korean tofu house, the meal also came with a set of four banchan side dishes, and the staff were more than happy to offer refills—always a nice touch.
The portions were very generous for the price, making the meal feel both hearty and satisfying. The tofu soup itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
On top of that, the staff were friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the visit.
If you’re looking for good tofu soups at a reasonable price, I’d definitely recommend giving Cho Dang Tofu a try!

Delicious food! Their banchan is soooo tasty! Service was also top notch. Highly recommend. We got their kalbi combo to share, and the 2 of us were stuffed! We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is hands down the best soon tofu restaurant in Seattle! In LA there’s BCD Tofu House, in San Jose there’s Jang Su Jang, and in Seattle we have Chodang Soon Tofu.
But make sure to come to the Bellevue location
it’s the one that tastes the best.
I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years, and except for maybe once or twice, the taste has always been consistent.
I’ve seen many different staff members over the years, but Eddie is by far the best. He has the perfect timing when it comes to checking in, refilling side dishes, and making sure you have everything you need. He’s also very kind and attentive.
The soon tofu is amazing, but honestly, Eddie is the reason we want to keep coming back to the Bellevue location even though it’s a bit of a drive from our home.

Cho Dong Tofu is one of the most delicious Korean restaurants in the area. The service is always friendly, and the food is amazing. We especially love the Korean BBQ and the wide variety of tofu soups. The small fish and side vegetables served as starters are a wonderful bonus.

My absolute FAVORITE Korean restaurant! They used to have multiple locations in Federal Way & Great Wall. Now that those closed, I’d travel any distance to come here. No other soonduboo around compares and it’s one of the rare korean restaurants not using the bathroom as an extra closet.
Pro tip – if you are Korean, ask for the off menu Extra Extra Spicy!

We came in late but the service was great and they told us to take our time. Waiter was so nice. This place is one of my favorites and has been for a while. The food is delicious and so are their side dishes. It’s very authentic

I really wanted to like this place, especially after reading recent positive reviews, but unfortunately that wasn’t our experience. I ordered the seafood knife-cut noodle soup, which was described as having shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, and cuttlefish in a seafood broth. I expected a hearty seafood soup, but what I got looked more like seafood that had babies — tiny, sad little versions of what they were supposed to be. The noodles were overcooked and gummy, and for $21.99, I expected much better quality and portion. My husband’s tofu soup was bland, and the galbi was tough and lacked flavor. As for the reviewer who compared this place to BCD in Los Angeles—it’s not even close.

Cho Dang is our go-to Korean spot on the east side. The restaurant is big, clean, and comfortable. Their soon tofu always hits the spot, and the dolsot bibimbap comes out sizzling with perfectly crispy scorched rice at the bottom. We’ve been here several times now and it’s always authentic and consistent.
I really appreciate the little extras too, like the fried fish that comes with the meal and how they proactively refill the banchan without having to ask. One time I was waiting for a takeout order and they brought me a warm cup of barley tea while I waited, which was so thoughtful.
Highly recommend if you’re craving solid Korean comfort food!

I usually come here for tofu soup, and it is good. Why do you even make this haemul-kalguksu menu, priced $21, and its worse than the frozen package that I can buy from korean grocery stores. Dont think of even trying this. If the owner sees this, please remove. What a waste of money and stomach.
