Went there tonight for dinner for takeout i ordered the family meal that comes with 2 chickens and 4 LG sides. But what it doesn’t tell you is that you have to pay extra for your sides. So next time I’m going to order 2 whole chicken and the side by themselves it will save some money. The chicken has a great flavor to it the kids and wife liked it. The pinto beans had some flavor but needed more. The French fries aren’t worth the wait the little gas station up the road has better fries. The amount of sauce they give you is crazy. The green one is good but the brown one is better. It has a smokey and a little spice in it it’s good.

My fiancé and I were leaving Food Lion when one of their employees came outside and suggested that we dine in. My husband and I order and shared their half chicken, mac and cheese, maduros, and a Jamaica drink for $21. The chicken was delicious, seasoned well. My fiancé enjoyed their maduros. I prefer tostones over maduros, so he tore those up. The Jamaica was delicious too, and wasn’t too sweet. They offered us three of their salsas. A green and creamy jalapeños salsa, a chipotle salsa, and their homemade picante salsa. All three enhanced the flavor of the chicken. The mac and cheese was seasoned well but could use more cheese. It looked like it was cooked in a cheese sauce, and if it was topped off with more cheese, all the food would be a 5/5 Star. We live close so we will be back for sure. Wishing the business nothing but success. This is a wonderful location for this restaurant and the prices are great!

You’re able to make adjustments (add or subtract) anything you wouldn’t want in your bowel. You definitely get your money’s worth! Big portions where you have enough for the next meal if you want!
Staff was very pleasant, courteous, and attentive! Place was clean and well organized.
I ended up ordering the Chispa Rice Bowel with a large fried plantain, I can say the plantains were the best I’ve had since a longtime!!
(They used ripped plantains and fried like they should be with the crisp edges, not bitter at all)
Also got a Jamaica and that was made perfect also, most places are bitter this was sweeten just right!
I will be back very soon, glad to have a new homemade food restaurant near me again!

We came in today for the first time. This place is named well because the flavor of everything was drool-worthy. We ordered the dark meat chicken, two burritos, and a bowl, and left full and happy. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. We will definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Chispa Flavor! The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a great vibe, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. On top of that, the service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

Absolutely solid spot to eat. The customer service was very pleasing, everything was very clean, and the food was very true to the style. The sauces were . I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. If I had one critique, it would be to grill the burrito, but that’s just preference. Give them a try!

This is a great place to eat!! Our ladies group gathered and ate there this evening. They give you lots of yummy food for a great price. Best fried plantains in Goldsboro! The workers are cheerful and worked hard to serve us well. I will absolutely be back!
