The food was all fresh and absolutely delicious. The portions are in line with the cost so there is good value. The restaurant is pleasant and comfortable. The service is very good and very well kept the restaurant and plenty of parking available. I truly enjoyed the meal and look forward to coming here again usually come by this area every 2 months. This is our first time stopping by in over 10 years

Friend and I went for dinner here the Sunday before Memorial Day. Arrived at the restaurant around 5-5:30pm and it was pretty empty. Staff was very friendly throughout and kept checking on us. I had the liver and onions with the meatball soup. The soup was great, but the liver was pretty bad, and I wasn’t able to get through it. Friend had the meatloaf and salad, and they were very good. They also served some bread and butter on the house, so I filled up on those. Friend also ordered the french toast to go, and ate it while camping in Joshua Tree National Park the next morning, and liked it. The restaurant is right across the street from the food Mart, and there’s plenty of parking spaces around. The interim decorations are neat.

People in our party had a cheeseburger and fries, and the meatloaf dinner. Both were delicious! It was a welcome, refreshing stop on the way to LA. The restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent too. Glad we stopped!

We eat here every time we drive from Ventura to Phoenix. Great halfway point. Food never disappoints and the staff is lovely. Don’t fall for the guy who is always on the off-ramp looking to get gas money. He has been there for over a year now.

We were on a long drive and didn’t feel like fast food. This place fit the bill. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and I had the BLT, both to go. Food was fine. Service was excellent, really friendly and prompt, brightened my day. The place is clean and bright, and while we didn’t try the coffee there, it looks like they’re pretty serious about it.

It’s not the cheapest, but it was nice to support a small business and not eat fast food.

Great little roadside diner in the middle of the desert. Stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised and the high quality food and incredibly friendly service. Highly recommend you stop in for a bite or a cup of coffee. Quite a few miles before anything else. Oh and there’s a General Patton museum right next door!

Hi, on our groovy little road trip, ran across this cool little hole in the wall restaurant. This place is sooooh COOL…. GOOD OLD FASHIONED COMFORT FOOD!!!!! They even had a senior deal with half a sandwich, hot soup and sample of old fashioned chili beans. CAN WE SAY DELICIOUS Outside was sitting and a GORGEOUS, WELL KEPT GARDEN, COMMUNITY POOL AND COMMUNITY CENTER. Please check out the video. All staff members were EXCELLENT and treated people like family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

This restaurant is really a desert gem located off the 10 frwy at about an hour to the Ca/Az border. Has excellent food with very nice waitresses that offer fantastic service. The wall decor includes historic pictures of the resturaunt and desert area’s earlier days. The menu offers a lot of choices of excellent meals. There a George Patton special on here that is very good and the hamburgers are amazing. They also have excellent pies, ice cream and cakes and a gift shop with many goodies to choose from. The restrooms are well maintained and there is plenty of table and booth seating including counter seating. I recommend the establishment to anyone traveling through the area.
