Every time I order food at this particular chipotle, I end up disappointed with my experience. This particular visit I received about 5 pieces of chicken in my bowl. It was an online order and sealed when I picked it up. This typically happens with online orders only, and never in person when someone is preparing the food in front of you. Chipotle is already over priced, but the food is typically delicious so I’m willing to deal with it… but you don’t get to skimp on ingredients AND be over priced. I’m really disappointed with this location. The people are friendly, but the service sucks.

First time going to Chipotle and not impressed. Food was good– like Subway setup for non-authentic Mexican food. Price okay — not high but not cheap either expect to pay around $20+ per person total at minimum. Unfortunately the Tacoma Mall location was seriously lacking in staffing: customer service was poor (the employees appeared to be present for the paycheck only) and cleanliness was very poor. There was a line of people but there is no excuse for not having a single clean table and overflowing trash. Even the counters around the food needed to be wiped up in between customers (and clearly had not been). There was not a lack of employees that night — some clearly busy and a few appeared to be lost.

The flavor is there, but the lack of employees actually trying to do what the customer asks is insanely depressing. I honestly feel like I’m speaking to robots half the time, not only that but they don’t get the requests even close. lol how does someone ask for extra Romaine and is able to count the amount of pieces of lettuce instead? When people go out to eat for the convenience and to get what they order, but receive subpar items? You will continue to lose customers…

After years of searching I have done it. I have found the greatest Chipotle in North America. After 3+ trips, not only has this place never disappointed: it demolishes my expectations every time. The ingredients are always fresh, always colorful, always tasteful. The staff accommodates any and all requests. The line is never out of any options, the guac is always well done, and I’ve watched the staff temp check every item on the line. If Chipotle was smart, they would fly people into SeaTac and send them down to the Tacoma mall to see what the gold standard of Chipotle looks like. As a former Chipotle employee myself, this place bleeds the mission. I have seen many negative reviews so maybe it’s a change in management, maybe I’ve just caught it on good days, but a tip of the hat. There is hope left in the world for quality fast food.

I made a DoorDash order to this location after working my usual 60+ hour work week in road construction. The person that prepared my meal shares a name with me. I was giddy to see “prepared by *name* :)” written on the container in the bag, only to find the contents were seeping rapidly through the bottom. Lo and behold, it is because they ABSOLUTELY LOADED ME UP. I couldn’t have asked for a better end to my week. The rice to bean to meat to guac ratio was nothing like I’d ever seen. I swear I heard voices of angels ring through my apartment paired with a light shown from heaven. Absolutely incredible. I’m so glad to know that a sweetheart with a unique name is working at my local chipotle. Thank you bestie.

Got a take-out burrito with my daughter here today. I chose “steak“ because that looked the most delicious protein. At the end of the meal, I had four distinct chunks of inedible gristle that I’d had to spit out of my plate.
Come on, Chipotle, can’t you do better than this? Trim the meat before serving, I shouldn’t have to spit things out while eating your burrito!

You pay almost $20 for rice, beans, and 2 bites of chicken. Completely ridiculous. They are lucky that those 2 bites taste good otherwise they wouldn’t get any stars. Same amount of stars as there was chicken in my bowl.

To start, the dining area was filthy for no reason they were not that busy. When you have to walk thru the dining area to get to the counter, you would think that first impressions would be a priority. The staff was friendly and prompt. We ordered 2 steak bowls + guacamole about $32.00. They were just okay, nothing special.
