Dear Owner/Branch Manager,
I’m reaching out to provide some feedback regarding a recent experience at your Chipotle location in Vallejo. As a regular customer, I appreciate the food and atmosphere Chipotle aims to provide, but unfortunately, my family’s experience during our last visit was less than satisfactory.
When we arrived, my family and I couldn’t find a clean table to sit at. Nearly every table was either covered with food remnants or other messes, and we had to request staff to clean a table for us. After a noticeable delay, my wife ended up cleaning the table herself so that we could sit down.
Additionally, when we walked in, there was no greeting, and we were left standing unacknowledged for almost a minute. A simple greeting or acknowledgment goes a long way in making customers feel welcome, but unfortunately, this aspect of customer service was missing. We also noticed there were at least 10 employees working at the time, yet no one seemed attentive to the cleanliness of the dining area or to welcoming guests as they entered.
Moreover, we noticed a significant number of flies in the dining area. They were flying around, frequently landing on our food and even on us, which was quite uncomfortable and concerning from a hygiene perspective.
It’s understandable that busy times can lead to temporary lapses in cleanliness and attentiveness, but this experience suggested a need for improvement in the regular upkeep of the dining area, pest control, and customer engagement. Perhaps assigning a dedicated staff member to monitor and clean tables throughout peak hours could ensure a more welcoming and hygienic environment for all customers. Additionally, reinforcing the importance of greeting each guest promptly might improve the overall customer experience.

SLOWEST Chipotle iv ever been to. We had an online order and it literally took forever to do. The staff is not professional at all. The staff literally wasted time on every freaking thing they can do. In total it took them half an hour to make our online order. Can you believe that? We waited in the restaurant for half an hour for our order.

This has to be one of the worst Chipotle locations I have been to. The food line is dirty, trash cans are overflowing, they have no utensils, and the drink machines are empty. They’re constantly running out of ingredients, too. Management needs to get a handle on ordering enough and preparing enough for the day.

Food is really good at chipotle.
It’s the servers that are terrible. Serving very minimal portions. You must ask for more portions all the time at the Admiral Callahan locations. If this is management instructions to only serve minimal portions it is not the best way to get return customers. Been to this location twice. There was a time that they ran out of some of the selective items to make a burrito or bowl.

Food was great, Portions were great well within reason of the price paid. Staff was super friendly. I would definitely stop here again.

We ordered here and we’re extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. The rice was super clumpy with no cilantro. Plain white rice with no flavor very nasty. Although they were generous with the nasty rice. I asked for lettuce and they sprinkled pieces of it. For it being empty at the location they could definitely do better with the good. The Italian vinegratte looked so weird.

Waited 30 min because they only had 1 person working the line when they had 5 others cleaning and chatting. When we got to the front, they ran out of veggies, lettuce, hot sauce and bunch of other stuff. They didn’t tell us until we got to the front. Worst part is they had reserves for take out. They rather prioritize online orders over diners. Wasted our time and terrible service even when they were fully staffed

It’s a chipotle. Sometimes it’s good here. Other times they give you barely an ounce of meat and call it good enough. We’ve had to go back in to buy more meat before, and we don’t ask for extra fluff.

Food received was room temperature, except the Queso. Dining area, food prep areas are not kept clean. The entire time I waited for order no staff attended to dining area, nor did staff wipe down prep areas. All trash receptacles were full. I was so uncomfortable with the lack of sanitation that I could not even sit down. I have never seen a location this bad. Service staff kept sliding orders being prepared over dirty services. Have no plans to ever again order food from this location, too unsafe. So surprised this location is allowed to continue operating like this. Very unsanitary and not what I would expect from a Chipotle restaurant.

Other than the food not being that great most of the time, this location fails to serve fresh food. I ordered as soon as the store opened hoping I would get fresh food unlike other times I order during dinner and receive horrible food. This time was the same but worse. The guacamole is absolutely disgusting. Not only is it black all over not one bit of freshness but also has pieces of cheese and other things mixed into the guacamole that are not typically in it. It almost looks like someone’s left over side of guacamole. I definitely take accountability for going back over and over after being disappointed one too many times but still this is no way to serve food what do ever
