I had an incredibly terrible experience at this location. I was charged for “extra chicken” that I never ordered. When I pointed out, the cashier refused to refund the difference or correct the transaction, stating that only offering a vague “discount for the next visit.” (as I read through other reviews and realized this is a pattern of behavior for this location. Overcharging customers is their standard practice)
The service was even worse. When I tried to get the extra chicken I was forced to pay for, the server completely ignored me. She chose to mop the floor and wipe tables right in front of me while I was standing at the counter, then walked into the back without a word. I felt invisible and disrespected.
Eventually, a different female staff member (who seemed to be the manager) came out from the back. She had a much better attitude and finally provided the extra chicken in a side bowl to resolve the situation.
I deeply regret not checking the ratings before stepping into this store. The only people who should visit this place are government officials investigating fraud.

What did they do to me today? They only put rice in the leaves and did not put anything in. I would have called them veggie balls. Okay, they put a little rice and a little bit. They put beams in the leaves. A little bit, a little bit, a little bit. And they took more money. They took 14 dollars from me. And they took more money. And they did not give me the whole thing. They do not do me this good service.

People say this location sucks but if you come right when they open, they give you huge portions and I’m definitely satisfied with the size of my chicken bowl. I had a bite of chicken with every bite and they were generous with the sour cream. It seems every location in Downtown San Francisco has bad reviews so it seems chipotle is falling apart altogether. What a shame as it’s simple to prepare their food fresh and serve the right portions. Anyone who experiences some kind of bullshit at any location needs to speak up and let them know that you want your food made right!!!!

Ordered through DoorDash from this location and when we received the food, the meat was severely undercooked. The cow was damn near still mooing We ended up getting kind of a refund through DoorDash (credits) but despite that, I’m still very disappointed with this experience.

I feel sorry for this location. They were doing so good then out of nowhere it just plummeted once again. I had to place a review here about a year back because the staff was overcharging me every time I went there. Thing eventually got better and the atmosphere became amazing. It’s been about a month since I have been to this chipotle location. Needless to say it was dirty, every table needed cleaning. All the garbage cans were overflowing and when I went to pick my food up there was a guy with no gloves on coughing in his hand and standing over the food. The front door was wide open the entire time and the delivery people and homeless came in and out with their cups and tumblers to get free soda. I asked for a manager and a guy came out upset and very rude. I asked if he had someone to clean at least one table. He told me I had to wait for two minutes in which I did. In about 90 seconds he returned with a dirty towel and no gloves asked me which table I would like to sit. Then he wiped the table that was more dirty after he wiped it and asked me was I satisfied. I decided to capture a video of the incident just in case the owner cared enough about what was happening in his business. I grabbed my order and prayed I don’t get sick tonight. This location has been having on and off again bad service for the few years that I have been going there. I’m just going to go to the one near Montgomery Street off Market from now on. Don’t go there if you don’t have to.

Ordered chicken bowl. Got a beef bowl. Can’t have it as I am a Hindu. Had to throw the whole bowl and they just gave points to add extra chicken on next order as they consider chicken as missing item. Had to sleep without eating today all thanks to chipotle.

I had an unpleasant experience both times I visited. The burrito was extremely small (about 4–5 inches), and the staff had poor attitudes. They appeared reluctant to give full portions, as if doing so would affect their paycheck. On top of that, employees were speaking about me in Spanish, which felt unprofessional. I work armed security and chose this location for convenience, but it turned out to be a poor choice overall.I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN!

i have never been to a chipotle with rude staff like this one. everyone was so rude. i asked them whether there was ice because the ice machine seemed to be broken and they literally dont care they all said “no i dont know” and didnt care. The floors disgusting, literally garbage can at both garbage stations overflowing, exactly all of the napkin dispensers were completely empty, no forks only knives. The beverage fountain was out of ice, so I went back to the counter after purchasing my food to let them know. They just shrugged at me and didn’t say a word. I went back to fill my drink without ice, and the C02 was out. Went back to counter, shrug, no words.
My steak bowl was a LOT of fat and grizzle. My chips were stale. This place is a nightmare. Working in service management, I couldn’t help but wonder if front of house looked like this… what did back of house look like.

The food was ok. Portions alright, but I kept having to tell the lady to not put things into my bowl. She kept getting confused when I would just say, “lettuce”. On top of that I was going to dine in. But the dining room was a MESS. Food all over most tables. Trash all over the floor. It was disgusting and made me just go home to eat. I only took a few pics as I was heading out but the rest of the store was a mess.
