Normally this chipotle is great. The meat is always good and the portions are actually reasonable. I’d give 5 stars most of my visits. I’m giving this 1 star and i wish i could give it zero because i didn’t even get my food. I went in today an hour before closing… they were already cleaning all the floors behind the glass and had the tables with the ingredients pushed back wot someone scrubbing the floors with a full line of customers. When we got to order the guy said that he was out of all the steak, corn, white rice, and few other things. To stop cooking an hour before close with a whole line of people is not right especially for a busy location. I have worked in food service before and i understand getting ahead on closing tasks but not having product was unacceptable…

My wife loves chipotle. I don’t get it, but she does. I used lo like chipotle, eons ago. I had not eaten chipotle for years until about 2 years ago that my wife started to go. I ordered a carne asada burrito and I did not enjoy it due to the fat and gristle that is left on the meat. After that experience I started ordering the barbacoa, which there is fat left on it every once in a while but doable. They did start getting stingy with the meat as time passed, and as they did my wife started to get upset with the lack of meat, guess what happened? My wife orders double the meat . Her lunch is expensive. Anyway, today I went to get lunch about 1pm and I ordered a carne asada bowl (barely any meat), I added guacamole and a drink for a total of $17. I think it was worth about $8. Carne asada was same low quality as last time I ate it. This place was packed, so I might be the only with that experience. Someone else went with me and got a chicken bowl and took a few bites and left it, said chicken wasn’t good. I gave a 2 star to food because the barbacoa is ok for the most part, the portions can be discouraging to be a regular costumer though. I gave 3 stars to service although they are not rude, they are not a marvel, I have to take into consideration that they were very busy and it can get stressful. Atmosphere I gave a 3 star because the floor was filthy, when I was walking out somebody was starting to clean the counters. I did not go into the bathroom. Service and atmosphere can change depending on how busy they are but food quality and rations are from corporate therefore I give a 0 (zero) to corporate.

My family went to Chipotle to pick up lunch today. We had 4 orders of 3 tacos. Apparently they weren’t in the mood to make tacos. I’ve included pics of the results. I literally don’t think they could have done a worse job if they tried. They plopped 3 tortillas in a tin, slipped on some meat, skipped the toppings and wrapped them up. Obviously if I would have been there I’d have cancelled and walked out, unfortunately my family was intimidated by the workers terrible attitude and actually paid for this nonsense! $60 wasted.

Edit: This is not real. So i went back to have my order fixed. Instead of brown rice and black beans, the kid behind the counter put in a ton of the fajita veggies. Baffled. I don’t even know how he managed to do that with me right in front of him. At least the second time I got a tortilla
My chicken burrito bowl was missing the chicken (not even sure how that happens), and I was given a ripped side tortilla. Tried to call the restaurant but it’s all automated and I couldn’t reach an actual person.

I was at this chipotle today to purchase just a small bag of chips. Because there were only 2 bags left. I then asked was there a freash batch. The server told me yes… they just came up. He said, yeah sure. He went into the back…. and cam back out and said… the manager said… the fresh batch was for a catering party. So I asked for a refund. The on duty manager named Yusuf. Came to the front to give me a refund. I asked him… you know it’s only about 15 to 20 chips that make up a small bag. He told me… yes. He know. I replied, 15 to 20 is not going to make that much of a difference. He handed me my receipt. See attached pictures. While sitting there in the lobby writting this complaint out, the fresh chips for catering were placed out for sale. babbO Italian Eatery is where I am now.

This is the most consistently good Chipotle I have ever frequented. They are fast. And I mean lightning fast. Doesn’t matter how busy they are, I get through the line in just a few minutes. Portions are good. Atmosphere is a little better than most Chipotles. Dining room is a little crowded, but they also have outdoor seating for those cool AZ. Winters. You have to ask for a code to the bathrooms though.

No chicken at 9:05pm and it looked like everything was cleaned already. Veggie fajitas didn’t look great at all so we just walked out of the place and went to the chipotles by my neighborhood. I’ll keep you posted on the other chipotles
