HANDS DOWN WORST CHIPOTLE I’VE EVER BEEN TO. I never write bad reviews but this place is ridiculous and the negative reviews all make sense now.
I online ordered a double chicken bowl with lettuce as the base with cheese, fajita veggies, medium salsa and then sour cream on the side. It came with a handful of pieces of lettuce, not an entire base, with no veggies, no salsa and MAYBE one scoop of chicken; definitely not double meat for the extra $4 it costs. At least they got the sour cream on the side right, but this is definitely not worth $15+ and I would highly recommend avoiding this establishment.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I can’t believe this place. Nothing ruins a burrito like undercooked crunchy rice. Also, they were out of almost every meat. This didn’t impact me, but it’s crazy that they are out of most meat and not cooking more! The grills were not even going. Over all this place seems poorly run and I have never had crunchy rice at any chipotle out of over 100 visits. This place just needs new management. 2 stars is a Favor, that’s only because the service was friendly.

UPDATE: upgrading my rating from 2 to 3 stars . gave this Chipotle another try and the experience was seamless. Staff was very friendly and Food was as fantastic.

Whoever the manager or owner of this store needs to get it under control. I have been multiple times due to it being good food and quality food in terms of late and fast options but the service has killed me. I have worked in fast food and food service multiple times and have never seen worse service than my multiple interactions here. I am not usually one to leave reviews but this one was enough for me. At dinner show up of 6:30pm on a Saturday, I showed up to see five employees working. 4 of which who needed constant direction from who I assume was the shift lead. At the time of showing up they were out of 3 of their 5 protein options which required me to wait for them to finish making the chicken (which was thrown on the grill after I was there for 15 minutes and the grill was empty). Then after the chicken was done, I had to wait for the steak to cook. So during dinner rush, when I showed up they had no food cooking and were out of 3 options. The one shift lead had to make a comment 3 times to the grill cooks to get the food going. The line at the time had over 5 other people in line behind me and 3 others waiting for them to cook steak or chicken.

This is not the only time I have had an interaction like this. From a business owner to a business owner, the expectation is simple, do not keep your doors open to a certain hour if you do not expect your employees to work past that. Over multiple times, I have come into this locations 10 and 10:30pm (never 5-10 minutes before close but an hour to a half hour before close) and have been told multiple times that they do not have multiple menu options because they have already done their cleaning for the night. I’m all for employees cleaning when it makes sense but an hour before close and telling customers no does not make sense.

It almost always seems that they have one employee on staff at the moment that has to run the show and run all the other employees at the same time. No structure. And it appears no proper training to the staff for employees to know when and how to service customers.

I have had orders underfilled due to lack of material available, staff over stretched due to lack of training, and guest unhappy. At the time of my review they have a 2 star rating and it makes sense why. I truly believe if this store did not have good macro healthy food, it would be going under business. It sucks that we live in a world that as long as the store is producing profits, even if customers are unhappy, nothing will change.

At the end of the day, I only leave the review because I wish something would change here because of how much I do enjoy the foods. But it is highly unlikely because the corporate individuals who make decisions at a chain like this will never see this review in order to make a change. Until change is made I will speak highly of chipotle food but incredibly low of their service, management, model, and structure. Sorry to be harsh, but like I said I usually do not leave reviews. I have waited to leave his until I could get food that was not towards closing hour, always assuming that my service was strictly because of the hour or the day. But today proved that it is simply this location and its poor management.

This Chipotle went completely down hill. The last few visits they were constantly out of important things such as chicken and vegetables. The rice is over cooked and so clumpy the employee had to the smear it off the spoon. My most current visit is the last one I’ll make due to how terrible it has become. The employee scooped steak onto the burrito, decided it was too much and removed it off the burrito and placed the steak back into the container. This is a cross contamination hazard that could make someone very sick as the clumpy rice definitely stuck to the removed steak bits. This slow speaks to how cheap they are, that I couldn’t get those 2 extra pieces for a protein I’m already paying a premium price for. The queso was a light drizzle, with only 1/4 of the ladle making it onto my burritos. For an up charge I expect a decent amount and when I mentioned this to the employee they said I would have to pay double for more. I have never seen the employees skimp out so much on the servings that my burritos were half the size they used to be. Clearly the owners want to profit without actually giving anyone any food. For $30 I expect to leave with 2 fat burritos, not the saddest little taquitos.

I’m unsure why an establishment that’s known for its chicken is consistently out of chicken. Isn’t chicken the biggest bin in the fixins area? So why do they never have chicken? This is not the first or even the 2nd but the 3rd time I’ve gone in to this store and — oops! no chicken. It was a Saturday at 12:30 PM.

We were told it would be another “10 to 15” minutes so we hung for a second. We tried to lighten the mood but, apparently, all the senses of humor have been removed from their employees.

A party of 10 came in after us who wanted, surprise!, chicken and were told it was going to be a while. Why?

We ended up leaving and went across the street to Del Taco and, guess what?, they had chicken. I will not be going back to this location. I’ll be giving Del Taco or Cafe Rio my business. IF (and that’s a big IF) I do go back to a Chipotle, it’ll be the location in Airway Heights. They always have chicken.

PS – I wrote to Chipotle’s corporate office and got this solid reassurance: “…we will share your feedback with our Post Falls store to ensure that they are always properly stocked with all ingredients.” Sounds like they’re really on it! LMAO!!

But really…see you at Del Taco.

I really love their food but their service is terrible. Slow and understaffed and impolite. They are consistently out of everything. Super disappointed. I keep telling myself maybe it was a fluke but it’s like this every time

They work twice as fast for the drive thru and prioritize it. (You also get way less food in the drive through because their portions are so small)

I stopped here because I love Chipotle, but I was extremely disappointed! The servers were not friendly, and the cashier didn’t even acknowledge me when I got up to the register with my food. He was too busy fumbling around with some card in the card reader, but didn’t bother greeting me or explaining what he was doing. After standing there awkwardly for a minute, I finally asked what he was doing, and he sort of tried explaining, but I couldn’t really understand him. I payed for a large fountain drink, only to find out when I went around the corner to the drink station that all of their specialty teas/lemonades were empty! Fortunately I was able to get reimbursed for the beverage. Finally, I went to grab a fork out of the fork bin, only to discover it was full of spoons. So I looked in the other bins, assuming they’d been mixed up, only to find that they too were full of spoons and knives. After all of this trouble, who needs a fork anyways, right?

Terrible service, food took about 30 minutes and the workers didn’t maximize their time and were lazy… I waited 35 minutes for a burrito with hardly any steak and my sour cream is coming out of the sides of the burrito. The dude had to double wrap my burrito in foil. Would not recommend this location. At least some of the workers are friendly

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Absolutely terrible experience at this Chipotle. One order had the wrong meat, our chips and guacamole were missing the guacamole completely, and worst of all — I found a HUGE piece of bone in my food (about 2 inches long and half an inch wide). This is completely unacceptable and a serious safety hazard. The lack of care and attention to detail here is shocking, and we will not be coming back.

After being opened a few months it can’t still be growing pains can it? I can be more understanding with poor service and lack of consistency with it just opening but it’s approaching a year and things still suck. I placed an online order with a time for pick up. I showed up and no one could be bothered to greet me/ask for a name/what I’m doing just standing there at the desk. I think ok maybe it’s not ready yet so I’ll wait. 10 mins after my pick up time I ask for an update and they pull it out from a lower shelf totally not in the pick up area. Why have online orders and a pick up shelf if the orders aren’t stocked there and are kept in a totally hidden area. So odd. And on top of that they forgot the sauce I paid extra for. Safe to say I will spend my $ elsewhere as others are also having a similar experience so it wasn’t just me.
