My experience today that pushed me to writing a review is unfortunately too common at this location. The food: burned chicken, no veggies, 1 type of rice, dirty lettuce, and just overall inconsistencies with other locations. The service and atmosphere: REALLY depends on who’s working. It seems that the college-aged and older employees are very attentive and hardworking, know what they’re doing. The kids that look like they’re in high school would rather be anywhere else and make sure you know it. The restaurant itself is usually clean, but in a rush it gets to looking very dirty around the drink area and dining room, understandably.I expected the hill location to be worse than the 29th st. Chipotle due to the volume of people coming in and out every day, but this spot is the worst Chipotle I’ve ever had, every time. My experience today for example: I go inside at about 5 pm. There is a line of four or five people ahead of me, so it took ~ten minutes to get to the front. The girls on the line provided very bad service. Brown rice empty, white rice barely filled up. I get a laughable portion of rice, then ask for only a little bit of black beans please and get a massive scoop. No fajita veggies left. They put more salsa than rice, mumble everything, fully put wrong things on your bowl, and you have to ask them for extra of everything if you don’t want your bowl half empty. There is one girl that works there who will always give you perfect portions and double check that the scoop is good with you before putting it in the bowl which I really appreciate! I’d honestly give it one star if not for the staff that does work hard and do their best with what they’re given at this subpar store. Everyone I know, including myself, would never go here over another location if it wasn’t for our ability to walk over in a couple minutes vs. having to drive over to 29th. Just because it’s all college students shouldn’t result in this type of disregard for quality.

It’s an odd location. Somehow they were out of bowls and guac. So I couldn’t get a burrito bowl. Disappointing. I got a quesadilla and not enough cheese. Still edible so that’s a plus, but food should be better. People on line were quite inexperienced.

I tried to walk into this Chipotle to order lunch and could not as they were only accepting online orders for pickup. First off, why??? Second off, the online ordering UI is incredibly hard to use. I gave up trying to order and went to Illegal Pete’s, which was wonderful!

not really one to leave reviews but man, it’s rough here. line workers usually have 0 sense of urgency and take so long to make each persons food, and especially when there’s a lunch rush I don’t understand the lack of awareness. portions are also abysmal, my bowl is regularly underfilled. not worth the money or the time if you ask me.

Worst Chipotle location. Always out of chicken and if they do have it, it’s usually burnt. I’ve been in several times and they’ve been out of both rices. Not to mention sometimes the rice is undercooked and hard, which if you got a burrito literally makes it uneatable. The portions are even stingier than normal Chipotles, and maybe it’s because they’re always underprepared. Quite literally the only good this is the stores location, and the convenience is the only thing keeping this Chipotle open. Go to another location if you can since this one is not it.

Never thought there’d be a bad thing to say about a Chipotle, but on a Wednesday evening, they ran out of half their ingredients, so my bowl ended up being about 60% full and they charged me full price. I think they said they actually ran out so it wasn’t even that they needed time to cook more, which is crazy, for a slow and quiet Wednesday evening.

I wish I could give zero stars. The incompetence at this chipotle is truly remarkable. I have been here many times, and don’t think I have ever gotten a burrito made correctly. My most recent experience has sent me over the edge, and induced a terrible crashout, raising my blood pressure to levels much higher than normal. My “burrito” was a ball about the size of my palm. The proportions were all wrong. The amount of salsa was more than the amount of rice. I’m normally in good spirits but this has really changed my outlook and dampened my faith in human competence.

I came in after the CU football game. SKO BUFFS! This place was super busy! Elsa and Luz were on the line! Big smiles on their faces! They made the experience super fantastic! Yovani the general manager was also on the line helping out. He ran to the back to get me what they were out of on the front line even though they were super busy. Thank you Yovani! The service at this location is top notch! That is why I come to this location. Food was excellent (as always). The limited time carne asada is the bomb! I hope they make it a permanent part of the menu. Try it while you still can. Atmosphere here is the college vibe. These guys at this location work their @$$3$ off and should be commended. Thank you hill location staff! Keep up the good work! I will see you next time.

Just opened on Monday! 7/29

The staff were very friendly and served pretty generous portions.

Fun fact: about one mile from here is Boulder High where Steve Ells (founder of Chipotle) went to high school.

Another fun fact: this is my 346th different Chipotle I’ve been to and 77th different Chipotle I’ve been to in Colorado

cold, blocky, undercooked rice. always gets my order wrong when I order for delivery. portions are very sad, less than half the height of the bowl which is crazy.
