I ordered a lettuce bowl with steak, which I would not recommend. The quality was unacceptable. The lettuce was old and visibly neglected; I placed it in a separate bowl to clearly show the lack of care at this location. The steak was lukewarm and lacked freshness. Overpriced, too.
I contacted customer service to express my concerns, but the response I received made it clear why there appears to be no quality control in place. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location to others.

Need to truly work on maintaining the place extremely dirty, unkept. Workers used rude tones with us and were rude to their own coworkers you can tell the one on cashier was new and another employee was rude as hell to him telling him not to talk to them when he was just trying to figure something out. As a former chipotle worker i’m extremely disappointed in my experience there and what i witnessed. chips were stale. barely anything in our bowls.

This store has completely gone down hill within the past couple of months. Every time I go in to order the workers are so high strung and stressed out or completely dead pan face checked out like they hate life. This was never my experience here in the past so I’m not sure what changed and why the ordering process has been wrong the last 3 orders. This go round, asked for pinto beans, get home & it’s black beans.
Just returned to have a second bowl made with my correct order, different worker, literally grabs black beans again & goes to put them in my bowl. I don’t know how they are hearing black when I am saying PINTO. Very frustrating…24$ later I got my bowl with rice, beans, queso & salsa. No excuses to screw up a 4 item bowl TWICE. Stale chips & rice crunchy very undercooked. Management needs to get this store together.

This place is so terrible! My son and I wanted to get something to eat and when they opened we stood in the line. Two males were out front and a girl walked out from the back to the cashier and they all didn’t acknowledge us! Then all 3 of them walked back to the back and didn’t even say anything to my son and I! At least say we will be right with you but nothing! So my son and I went next door to L&L Hawaiian restaurant and when we received our food I walked back to take to a manager. This young girl was walking in and I asked her can I speak to a manager and she said I’m the manager. I was telling her what happened and try to explain to her that you’re employee’s should at least say something to us and that they shouldn’t treat people like this! She just walked away from me and I couldn’t believe it! I’ll never go to this location again! Show bad service and the people that work there including the manager are so rude!!! I told my son it’s like we were invisible! Bad bad bad management and bad employees! Here’s one of the employees I wish I took a picture of the 2 guys and the manager!

I moved to new Braunfels in September of 2022 and every time I’ve been to this location SOMETHING is wrong with my food.
I’ve had extremely overcooked rice, and I’ve had extremely salty rice multiple occasions. My latest order was a DoorDash order and most of the ingredients actually were alright. Accept for the fact that someone decided to absolutely DROWN my food in sour cream all because I asked for it on the app. I wish I had a picture but out of frustration I immediately tossed it.
Literally no trust in this store, and they need to stop having bad attitude solicitors outside of their location.

Only reason I go to this location is because its the only one in New Braunfels. Service is terrible and because service=food quality here, the food is bad too.
Went in 12/6/2025 before the lunch rush. Young lady taking orders was talking with another worker while I was just standing there waiting. Bad attitude from the start, clearly wants me gone so she can continue chatting with her coworker. Didn’t heat the tortillas enough even though no one was behind me so no rush. Then rushes me to tell her every ingredient I want from the start instead of as we go down the line. I.e , she demands to know salsa sour cream meat etc. All at the same time. Rushing me basically for no reason. I know that she is going to forget what I tell her etc. I oblige and tell her what I want and I mention *little*
sour cream and lo And behold she puts a ton, completely ruining the meal because she didn’t remember when she forced me to tell her everything I wanted from tbe story that I said *little* sour cream. I said please and thank you and I was not rude to her but she couldn’t care less.
This location sucks and im done giving them extra chances. Spend your money at any number of the non chain mexican joints in town…this place is a soulless franchise that can’t keep employees longer than a month.

At first everything was going good, until one lady who finished my order clearly wasn’t listening to us, we had said guacamole twice and she added lettuce and then the guacamole on top of the lettuce, we didn’t want lettuce at all. And when I mentioned it she had an attitude and said “I always repeat and ask to make sure” and I responded “yes, we said guacamole and you reached to the lettuce added it when we clearly said guacamole twice” she was upset because she has to remake the food but maybe if she just listened attentively to the customers it wouldn’t happened, she was taking orders but focused elsewhere. The first guy who had started my order was also not listening to me he ask what rice I responded which one I wanted but he had turned away and when he turned back he asked again when I had already said what I wanted.
