The energy in the space was incredibly positive — you could tell everyone was excited and proud to be part of something new. Their hospitality and friendliness made me feel right at home before they even served their first official meal.
I wish this Chipotle location the very best of luck in their grand opening and future success. With such a warm and inviting team, I have no doubt they’ll do great. I’ll definitely be returning once they’re officially open — this kind of positive energy deserves support!
Please do better with your staffing, so that the customer service doesn’t suffer! I appreciate the great service tho!
The workers are all young and unfortunately no sense of direction they have no clue and are imature and don’t even say thank you, she just put my bowl in the bag while talking with her colleague and didn’t close it or give it to me or say thank you. This is $20.00 wasted Again and I’m done, my money will go elsewhere. the owner should review all the employees they shoul be asked to resign better yet terminated
This is Chipolte Missouri City Texas near Fort Bend Toll Plaza. Yep it’s the new one
Terrible Terrible Terrible
Initially, my experience started off fine. I placed a very clear order: 2 soft tacos in 2 separate bowls with 2 large tortillas on the side, no small tortillas. Maria (reddish hair, and piercings) was preparing the order at the time. However, when the total rang up to $24.95, I was confused. I have ordered this exact same meal at other Chipotle locations and it consistently costs $9.15.
Unfortunately, I tapped my card prematurely and was charged before realizing the incorrect total. I was then advised to go to the end of the line and start over, which I complied with.
At that point, Maria approached me and began explaining how I “should have” ordered, stating it was “basically a bowl,” but her tone was condescending and her demeanor had completely shifted from our initial interaction. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
Jordan then assisted with remaking the order. Jordan was polite, professional, and handled the situation appropriately. The order was prepared as originally requested although the portions were noticeably smaller than the first attempt and when rung up correctly, the total came to $9.15, exactly as expected.
I informed Jordan that Maria told me the price difference would be corrected once I returned to the register. Jordan then went to retrieve the manager.
The individual who claimed to be the manager was working the drive-thru around 3:04 PM. She was approximately 5’10”, wore glasses, had short black curly hair, and appeared possibly Hispanic. When she approached, I politely asked for her name, just as I had done with Maria and Jordan. She refused to provide her name, stating she “didn’t have to.”
That alone is concerning. In a customer facing role especially management refusing to identify yourself is unprofessional.
I explained that Jordan had rung the correct order for $9.15 and that I was requesting reimbursement for the incorrect initial charge.
She refused, claiming it was “the same exact order,” which it clearly was not. When I asked if that meant Jordan and other employees were not properly trained on how to ring up orders correctly, she became flustered and began mumbling, unable to provide a clear explanation.
Ultimately, nearly 30 minutes were wasted, and I ended up canceling the order entirely because I was not being reimbursed for a mistake that was not mine and gathered a full reimbursement. I left knowing I was being misled rather than assisted.
This location is clearly lacking proper adult supervision and trained management. Most of the employees appeared to be very young (possibly 20 and under), which in itself is not the issue the issue is the absence of strong leadership, accountability, and professionalism.
In a restaurant setting:
• Employees should wear visible name tags (no nicknames).
• Managers should identify themselves without hesitation.
• Staff should be trained in accurate pricing, de-escalation, and customer service.
• Customers should not be penalized for employee errors.
Jordan was the only bright spot in this experience. Everyone else involved particularly management needs additional training in professionalism, business management, and customer resolution.
Until those issues are addressed, this location unfortunately earns its rating.
The 5 stars are for Jordan, which appears to be a stellar employee.
