I live almost 40 minutes away, I don’t get chipoltle often because they’ve gone down hill and are quite expensive. I get home and go to eat my food and none of my requested topping are there. I AM FUMING. I work in food service I can excuse some thing but you can’t tell me that this wasn’t just pure laziness.

Dining area was filthy, no clean area to sit. Trash all over the place. Floors tables overflowing trash cans. Loud explicit music playing with children around. The workers were rude. Their buddy came in and was giving all the workers handshakes with their gloves on. Honestly whoever is in charge of this crew should be fired.

This location has unfortunately gone downhill recently. From my experience tonight, the core issue seems to stem from management and staff accountability.
I placed an online order that was estimated to be ready within 10 minutes. I arrived about five minutes after the scheduled pickup time and checked at the online order station, where I was told my food was “still being made.” Over the next several minutes, I watched multiple other online customers arrive and receive their orders while mine remained unaddressed.
After about five minutes of waiting, I looked to see whether my order was actually being prepared, and it appeared it had not been started. I brought this to the attention of the same employees, but another five minutes passed with no clear response or ownership of the issue. At that point, I left and contacted customer service, though I have yet to receive a response.
I decided to go back inside to either pick up my food or request a refund. Twenty-five minutes after placing the order, it was still not ready. I was told they were “cutting up the chicken,” but it seemed coincidental that my order finally received attention only after the manager came to the front.
What was particularly concerning was observing an employee in the back quickly prepare an order for someone who had not yet paid, sending him off with unprofessional language. It was frustrating to see how efficiently service could be provided in that situation while my paid order was repeatedly overlooked.
I have never had issues at this location before, but recently the level of service and professionalism has noticeably declined. I understand staffing challenges are real, but the lack of accountability and customer care I experienced tonight should not go unnoticed.

Went here on 1/30 at approx 2210 and saw that they were open until 2300. Went to try and use their restroom first as I had just finished a three hour trip only to find that they were blocked off. I asked an associate if they were closed and she responded yes. I found this a bit odd as they still had 50 mins before door closing, this would seem like something done closer to the 15, maybe 20 min mark. So I inquired as to who the Manager at the time was and had been informed that Conner was the individual who was allowing this to happen. Seems like perhaps some retraining may be needed as cutting off services to your patrons will start making you a less than desirable location to want to visit.

The restaurant was not very clean. The acceptable food handling practices of the employees was not acceptable. While waiting in line I observed many instances where the employees were handling food directly with gloves that had been in contact with the floor, unclean surfaces, and their bodies. One employee (the one in the photo) in fact dropped a plastic glove onto the floor, picked it up, and began preparing an order in front of me.

Can’t speak on their food because I didn’t get any because they didn’t open their doors at the time nor five minutes after they claim to open. And had it been for me I won’t be mad but I was trying to get food for a final stage cancer patient and the absolute inconvenience just pissed me off. I love Chipotle! And I’ve been to many across the country. But Chipotle on 4th Street in Waco Tx is THE WORST I’ve ever been to. I have a food service manager’s license and there are sooo many violations in the serving/kitchen area. There was no one in line when we walked up and there was food all over the place on the serving line. I seriously doubt there is a manager or anyone in charge especially on Sunday afternoons. If there is he/she should be fired!! The employees are more concerned about socializing in the kitchen than customer service. One young man who was serving in the toppings area wouldn’t even break a smile when I greeted him with a smile and a “hello”. Not even a smile or “what would you like”. Just a grim almost angry face! Furrowed brows! Actually quite scary! The cashier was a sweet young lady but spoke so softly we could barely hear her. The gangsta music coming from the kitchen was annoyingly too loud. And the dining area!!! Repulsive!! This was at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon so you can’t tell me they didn’t have time to go out and clean. Food all over the floor and not just from one table. Several tables. Table tops weren’t clean. I’m sorry I didn’t think to take pictures to post here. You would think that with this location right across from Baylor and right off of I-35 serving travelers that Chipotle would take greater care and pride in this restaurant. I seriously felt like I was “in the hood”. I hope someone higher up sees this (and other reviews I’ve read) and at least change your management staff and possibly some of the workers.

What is going on with this place? The dining area is absolutely disgusting! Food all over everything. I didn’t wanna touch anything! I was mad I didn’t pay better attention before ordering my food. I was grossed out the entire time and couldn’t even enjoy my meal. What a waste of money. Oh and there was a hair in my daughter’s food. I get this happens sometimes but just the overall uncleanliness of the place made it that much worse!

The place was filthy and the bathrooms are usually not working. They are always out of silverware and napkins and their trash cans are always full. I would usually be willing to overlook this because the food is good but when I went in this time my burrito was so badly wrapped I couldn’t even eat it as a burrito the salsa had no flavor and everything tasted terrible along with the beans and rice being undercooked.
