Ordered online, asked for double meat and definitely was given the regular amount for 5 dollars extra. Id advise not ordering double anything that charges extra. Picture shown was the $19 bowl and that wasall the meat I could find.

We stopped at the Blue Springs MO location at 2:45 Sunday afternoon on our way home from a KC Chiefs game. The place was filthy!!! The floors were covered with paper and food everywhere and the trash looked like it had not been taken out all day. (See picture below).
If it’s this dirty out in the dining room what is it like in the back. Don’t think I will be any At any of these restaurants I awhile.

Never order online here!! Ordered a double meat bowl. Was not given double meat or the lettuce or the corn salsa or the fajita mix or pico. Just meat cheese and a little rice. Spent $26

Used to be a good fast food chain but not anymore. All the best items removed from the menu (chorizo – long time favorite long gone and al pastor) and now even worse with higher prices for very little portions and food not even safely heated to the correct food temperature. Not worth it. Close your business down chipotle – thrill is definitely gone. Not just this location but all of them!

Well decided to stop and get some dinner on our was home. Its 10:16pm they close at 11:00 pm. We walk in it’s dark inside, they are cleaning the restaurant. When we get to the counter we are informed they are out of steak, shredded cheese and guacamole. I mean who runs out of some of their main food? That’s like saying Denny’s or Ihop is out of eggs, bacon and sausage. The fact that they didn’t even seem to be very worried about what we thought is even more disturbing to me. As we leave another car pulls in and asks us if they are closed? We tell him what we were told. To his much surprise he says really? He said I’m surprised and left as well to buy food from another restaurant with food. We are from the country and only come to the city for special occasions like date night on Valentines. Way to go Chipotle? You need to buy some groceries!.

This location has turned into one of those Chipotles that is in the “take it or leave it” mindset. Meaning they are very often out of staple ingredients on even normal days.
Cheese is the most common missing in action ingredient. Usually one protein selection is out, chicken is the most common. Beans? Take whatever they still got. Don’t even worry about the fajitas peppers in stock, because they never are.
Its sad to see this store slowly crumble bc of simply not ordering enough of the key ingredients or taking the time and effort to borrow said key ingredients from other locations.
Workers there are amazing tho!
Store operations are MIA

The hippie worker really tried giving me like 3 beans and a half a scoop of chicken. It annoys me when I have to ASK for a full spoonful of the food item I’m paying for. Definitely won’t be back. I highly recommend La Fuente which is only 5-7 minutes away and they DON’T SKIMP. At La Fuente you actually get what you pay for and the food is super fresh! They have amazing burritos and bowls.

They ran out of cheese. How is that possible? Not acceptable for such a critical ingredient, especially for what they’re charging these days.

Update (12-13-25): Two weeks after the first review, I just went back. They had cheese this time, which was nice, but now they were out of fajita veggies and brown rice. It’s always something with this location, and judging by the attitude of the young woman who starts your order, I can see why they can’t seem to get anything right. I asked her a question and she mumbled a response, clearly exasperated that customers don’t know every little detail of the current promotions and their store’s pricing policy. Then, because I can’t hear what she’s saying, I lean over to try to hear her better. She apparently requests that I not touch the glass (my hand was lightly resting atop the glass barrier)… at least, I assume that’s what she said. Like I mentioned, amongst all the noise in there (and it’s loud), she couldn’t bother exerting any degree of volume to her speech, so I wasn’t actually sure what she told me at the time. The discussion continued as I told her the first couple ingredients. Again, I couldn’t hear the exact question of which ingredient she was asking if I wanted, so I again leaned in and then (w/out touching the glass) I pointed to the ingredients ever so slightly over the top of the glass. She raised her head and looked right at me and said something with full irritation in her eyes. Mind you, it was only said with irritation, not with volume. So I said loudly and emphatically, “What are you saying?” She finally starts talking loud enough, “Don’t reach over the glass.” My god… I guess the small, low glass barrier is sacred at Chipotle. Whatever, if that’s the rule, I have no problem with it, but if there’s no sign and no one back there with anything louder than a mouse’s voice to tell you otherwise, you can’t blame the customer if they graze it or point to what they want. This was too much for her, though, and she threw a mini-tantrum chucking the tortilla down in exasperation. She needs a massive attitude adjustment and voice-coaching before management should let her back on the front line.

From her point of view, I can understand being irritated if customers are constantly “not following the rules,” but she has to understand that no one can hear anything she says, so she’s only doing it to herself. It’s not like my pointing finger was anywhere close to her or the food, but my “glass faux-pas” and her immaturity in dealing with it, made it a very uncomfortable and bad experience. The restaurant is loud, so the employees need to be trained to speak up.

Not that it really matters to the owners/management, I’m knocking another star off the service and atmosphere rankings. Their poor service and constant inability to have a full supply of ingredients does not merit a third visit from me. I can get crappy and immature service for far cheaper elsewhere, so I encourage anyone reading to this point in the review that the time you’ve spent here was worth far more than the time/money you’ll waste at this Chipotle.

Horrible, Disgusting, flat out Never Again! What is it with this location? 1-25-26 @ 5:59pm. Only customer in the restaurant. Maybe 8 or 9 employees noticed. Does anyone even care to stay in business at this location? Waited a couple minutes to be waited on, no big deal. So why am i so pissed? The serving line was absolutely worthless. Two young people built my very simple order. First the female was most concerned with how to scatter a half a spoon of rice and make it cover the bottom of the paper bowl. When I nicely asked for a bit more she acted irritated and added maybe 2 tblspn. Apparently there’s a national rice shortage. This happened twice with my two bowl order. One chicken and one carnitas. Same ridiculous situation with the meat. Maybe 1/3 of what you’d see at any other chipotle location. The carnitas was swimming in a bean and rice soup. She had to sift through the nasty soup to end up with 1/2 a struck spoon of meat only to sling it at the bowl as if being pressured by a line of customers out the door. Now to the young man salsa & extras slinger. Using a spoon the size of a small shovel, the young lad loaded the utensil with maybe two teaspoons of pico on one the same chincey amount of corn salsa for the other. Seriously, no exaggeration here. Instead of placing the ingredients and building something presentable, they literally are slinging ingredients at the bowl from a foot away. Half of what is thrown ends up back where it started all mixed in wherever it falls. Folks it was a disgusting mess. There was beans, corn, sour cream and cheese floating and mixed into the red and green sauces. The lettuce was expired. At home we picked out black soggy rotten lettuce out of the bowl. They ended up in the trash. I do have some responsibility here. I’m at fault here. I should have said, never mind and walked out. As I was leaving, two others were heading in. I spoke to both telling them of my experience, they both told me their experiences here were also very poor. They turned around and left before making the mistake that I made. There is more to tell but frankly, I’m fed up because I know that they really don’t give a ship! Never again. This location needs to get shutdown PERMANENTLY!

I rarely leave reviews, but the food quality tonight was unacceptable. The very first chip I pulled from the bag had a piece of hair on it.
I ordered three bowls, two with steak. It honestly felt like they just threw random scraps of steak into our bowls. The steak was either mushy or nothing but gristle—so soft it could be smashed with fingers or so tough it was impossible to chew. Every piece in both bowls was like this.
The rice was also hard and tasted old. Overall, the quality was extremely disappointing and nowhere near worth the $50 I spent.
