BY FAR THE WORST CHIPOTLE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Both locations here in Champaign are just absolutely horrendous. When you call the store it gets sent to an AI response because they get called probably every hour and they don’t want to be held accountable. I truly wish new ownership could come and take over so that way we can get some good quality food back instead of this lousy excuse they call food. Please do better. The community deserves better than this garbage.
*Also this is my first one star review, NEVER do I post negative reviews because I understand things happen and it’s hard to be at your 100% everyday BUT this is was the last straw. I’ve been burned by both of these locations too many times for me to be silent.

My fiance and I ordered bowls
My bowl was extremely scorched (peppers and onions). My fiance was poked in his gums by something that look like a nail after taking a bite of his bowl. We are extremely dissapointed.

I have ordered here a few times and I’m always missing food. I waited a couple months this time before ordering again. I pay extra fees and service fees and delivery to be missing food. 3 simple items today. Side of steak, guacamole and chips. Delivered with no chips. How hard is that. You try to call and it’s AI answering and can not talk to anyone. Someone should get in touch with me and not say to go to the website that is AI as well. I was already there

So… I have never really been a person to do reviews… but I’ve given the chipotle on Anthony drive a few tries but each time it was awful. I have posted a review on that one already. So, I tried this chipotle on green street in hopes that I could actually enjoy some food. Well, I picked up my order today and my tacos didn’t even come with taco shells, my husbands burrito tortilla was the driest tortilla ever, the burrito fell apart in his hands, AND the queso was not fully cooked. It was lumpy and gross. I tried to call the store but you get met with a robot who won’t route you to a person. Then, i try the chipotle app to get some sort of refund and for 2 bad entrees and a bad side all it offered me was 1 free entree. I don’t want a free entree??? There’s not a chipotle in town I can actually redeem it at because they both suck! I’d rather just have my money back.

I was with a friend waiting in line, which was not busy at all. I got to the font of the line and my friend was behind me, so it was clear we were not ordering together. The employee then asked us if we were together and we said no, but then she asked my friend what she wanted and started simultaneously doing our order. She was getting confused and kept confusing our orders. I clearly asked for chicken and saw what I thought was chicken was being scooped into my bowl. Then, we moved onto toppings and I asked her for sour cream but then she took a giant scoop of salsa (the biggest scoop of food I got) and put it in my bowl. I don’t mind salsa so I didn’t speak up and just got the rest of the toppings I wanted. Then, I go to the cashier to pay for my food and tell them I got a chicken bowl, because that’s what I ordered. Then another employee, who I assume was the manager, came running over and loudly said “no that’s steak.” I was confused because I thought I ordered chicken and told him I ordered chicken. My friend also spoke up because she was sure she ordered chicken too and he said she ordered steak too. He then proceeded to open up our bowls and then pointed at the meat and said that it was steak and asked why we thought it was chicken. When I told him it was because we both ordered chicken, he said that the employee heard steak (which I don’t even know how because chicken and steak sound very different). Another employee came over and asked the manager if they are going to remake the bowls and the manager replied no and put the lids back on, without even asking us. I was very frustrated with this and just said steak was fine because I wanted to get out of there. I was then charged for a steak bowl, which was two and a half dollars more than the chicken bowl I intended to pay for. I am very frustrated by this experience, as everyone except for the cashier was very rude and unwelcoming. I’m a college student but I genuinely don’t know if I will be coming back and would rather go somewhere else.

I want to give a huge shoutout to the entire team and especially to Jason, who was overseeing them, on Friday night 11/14.
I’d had issues getting an online order in, came in during a dinner rush to place an order for 13 bowls – Jason read the orders off of my list, directed his team efficiently and quickly, and even helped me walk the order down the street for my staff meeting.
The whole team worked extremely fast and didn’t miss a thing – food was delicious. Fantastic customer service, and very very appreciated! Thank you to all!

My order was ice cold, and their chatbot was incapable of anything but a consolation drink. Why would anyone want a free fountain drink? “Here’s your cold-to-room temp steak bowl you paid extra for. Oh it’s cold? We’re (the robot collective) so sorry to hear about your experience. Would you like to wash down your miniscule portion of our high end steak with a COCA COLA ZERO?” I knew Chipotle was going down the drain from every news article about them over the last few years, but man, When you get double of something don’t you expect DOUBLE? and fresh? Maybe it’s too much to ask for a warm burrito bowl and I should’ve paid even more. To think they’re opening another in town is mind blowing to me. If management wants to reach out, my order details are in the photos.
