Normally I don’t like leaving poor reviews, but this is the second time I’ve been to the Muskegon chipotle and both times have been lackluster at best. I placed an order online for pickup (drive-thru), and there were several things wrong. The first, is that they had zero chips, and I’d have to call 1-800-chipotle to get that refunded. (That is too many numbers by the way). I ordered a large amount of chips to help feed 7 people. The second issue is when we got the food home. One burrito bowl had zero cheese, a couple pieces of lettuce, no corn salsa, no salsa verde and almost no fresh salsa. This should have had all of these things plus extra corn salsa, extra lettuce and extra cheese. The second one was again missing cheese while the third bowl was supposed to be 1/2 chicken and 1/2 carne asada. That bowl had the 1/2 carne asada but no chicken. They were more than 2 hours until closing. I found the service to be garbage and then to find out the food is mostly incorrect as well was just a kick in the teeth.
Normally, I love eating chipotle because I enjoy the taste, but this location leaves a lot to be desired.

It makes me feel a little better about writing this knowing others have the same issues. We frequent Chipotle, and at this point you think we’d learn because it is rare occasion when our order is right. I am constantly bringing home a 30+ dollar order to find that things are missing, or made completely wrong. You’re lucky if the workers acknowledge you (though I’d like to shoutout the young woman working the drive through tonight. She’s the first person I’ve ever seen remotely smile in that place. I don’t know your name, but please keep doing what you do.)

I’ve had to submit so many ‘wrong order’ requests that the chat bot thinks I’m trying to scam and refuses to process anything. And no, I’m not calling a 1-800 number, so miss me with that automated ‘thank you for your reply, please call us here’ bullshit. Nobody wants to call you. I don’t even want to be writing this review. Just make your damn food right.

Honestly, what the heck? Placed a $30 order online and drove all the way home to find both bowls don’t have the double chicken I ordered, one is SLOPPED with sour cream (asked for light), the other is missing 3 ingredients and both bowls aren’t even filled half way. Do these employees realize we (customers) are also hard working people who deserve to have our food handled with integrity? Just because you hate your job doesn’t mean I should have to deal with paying a ton of money and getting a horrible meal. It’s unfortunate you have to go in the building and monitor these people to make your food and can’t trust them with something as simple as a drive thru order. This place is horrible!!’

This is the second time I’ve ordered catering from this location. Both times have been DISASTERS.
Last time: order placed 2 weeks prior to event. The order was missing food and utensils when delivered. Delivery driver had to go back multiple times and was giving grief about missing items saying they weren’t on our order despite the receipt listing it out. By the time we had everything to eat, everything was cold.
This time: order placed day before for small gathering. Got in to pickup and they looked at me like I was crazy. NEVER saw the order and had to wait 20 minutes for it to be prepared. They never said sorry or even try to do anything to rectify that THEY didn’t do their job.

I’ve been to the Muskegon Chipotle twice, and I had an amazing experience both times! The food here is INCREDIBLE!! I’ve been to countless Chipotle locations and this one has by far been the best. Everything was clean. The staff were friendly, efficient, and they knew what they were doing. The food was DELICIOUS and fresh. I got a burrito bowl and both times it was filled to the top. I highly recommend this location despite what any of the bad reviews say! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

This is the second time we’ve ordered and there is no guac on our bowls! Honestly would love for them to tell us at least when we get there that they ran out and that would be perfectly fine! I used my bday guac and got another bowl with guac and there was none messed up since they almost charge $3 for it

Got chips, guac, and queso, they were out of chips but wouldn’t refund us so told us to come in a later time. We came back two days later, for chips, guac, and queso, along with the message from support we’d get it for free. They still didn’t want to give us our chips and claimed they “Didn’t have time for this” when it came to looking at our email, in an empty lobby, with 6 members of staff. I cannot believe I vouched that this was quality, whatever has happened in the last three months has definitely impacted quality of both food (unseasoned/cold) and customer service (How can a cashier tell me they don’t have time to give me my food they still charged me and refused to refund and thus steal from me?) I cannot recomend this to anybody and it makes me extremely irritated that upon calling support, I can’t even talk to store management.

Chipotle is a vegetarian staple. You’re always going to find pretty decent food, and pretty good service here anytime you show up. Some people have been complaining that you don’t get enough food from chipotle, but my local store always loads up my bowl, and it usually equals two meals for me. I like ordering through the app and getting the quesadillas with the hobey vinegar sauce. It’s so good.
It’s definitely messy but worth it.
Plus, I constantly am earning gift cards through certain survey sites to get money off my purchases, so it’s like a little treat for myself when I go.
The only thing is the music in the dining room is so loud sometimes.

Why would I patronize an establishment where the staff is so obviously miserable? They appear to be so upset to be serving customers that I feel bad even entering. Then I ask for chips, watch a team member finishing frying them and just to be told they’re out of chips. Chipotle has very few menu items and you can’t even manage to keep a major one in stock. Insane all around. This is why you’re failing ❤️

The trash bin is overflowing with garbage, spilling over onto the floor and creating an unpleasant odor in the air. The beverage station is completely out of drinks, leaving customers frustrated and thirsty, while the ingredient shelves are bare, making it impossible to order certain popular menu items. To make matters worse, some employees are displaying a lack of professionalism, being dismissive and rude to customers, which only adds to the negative experience. Additionally, I recommend checking your receipt carefully for any discrepancies, as I received incorrect change during my last visit.
