I have a severe allergy to avocados. Before placing my order, I let the employee standing before me know about my allergy. This particular employee looked a bit dazed and confused. That employee glanced at the food line and looked back at me but didn’t say or do anything to prepare for my order. Maya saw and heard the conversation and immediately stepped up saying that she would take my order.
Maya took off her gloves, washed her hands, cleaned the counter surface in front of the employees, washed her hands again, put gloves, on lay down 2 sheets of foil (side-by-side to prevent my tortilla from touching any surface) and then was ready to make my burrito. That alone gets two thumbs up and five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
As a customer who unfortunately has a food allergy, I felt safe and protected. I felt seen and understood. I really hope this location acknowledges Maya, and I hope that she receives a statement from Chipotle corporate on her professionalism, taking command of a situation, food handling, and care for customers.
Thank you, Maya.
Date of service was December 26th or 27th, 2025.
I visited about 2 months ago and I still think about it. My SO and I arrive for lunch, we mobile ordered ahead 15 minutes prior, 2 Chicken Quesadillas with Brown Rice, White Rice, and Black Beans as the sides. The food wasn’t ready, no big deal so we sit down and wait. Just sitting at the tables you can tell that it was wiped down with dirty water. There is a residual stench radiating from it.
After about 10 minutes, we notice most of the staff isn’t doing anything, there is a single guy in the back with a Bluetooth speaker blasting music, one guy is doing prep, cashier and the 2 counter people are standing around socializing with each other. They will make eye contact with you but won’t go out of their way to engage with you.
I go up to the cashier and ask if they received a mobile order for “SO’s name” and they confirmed they did. I asked if they had made it and the cashier went in the back to ask if they had. She comes back and tells me they didn’t and starts making it.
After 5-6 of fumbling around she gets someone to come help her make the quesadilla because she doesn’t know how. They both start working on it and they ask: “Does the chicken go inside the quesadilla?” ?????
I’m simply baffled at this point. I responded with “yes” and they eventually got out the order but the entire experience felt like walking into a play where all of the actors had no idea what role they were assigned or what their lines were. It’s closer to a circus than it is a functioning restaurant.
Not sure if its a lack of training or management or a lack drive to work properly but I highly recommend stopping at any other chipotle nearby.
Today, we were craving some Chipotle and decided to stop by the restaurant. Upon entering, we noticed the restaurant was visibly understaffed, as many of the food dispensers were empty and the tables were dirty.
Despite this, we proceeded to order; 2 chicken bowls and a veggie bowl. We were disappointed to learn they had run out of grilled peppers and onions, which are a staple when ordering a chicken bowl.
When we went to pay for our food, I asked for a towel to clean a table, but the cashier kindly offered to clean it for us. Despite the restaurant being busy with a steady flow of customers, the cashier was still friendly and helpful.
While the food was tasty, the understaffing and lack of cleanliness in the restaurant were concerning.
In the future, we hope that the restaurant can improve its staffing and cleanliness.
