First time checking out this spot, and I gotta say the staff was super friendly, especially the sweet Hispanic lady who took our order. Prices were pretty fair too, especially for being right in the heart of downtown. Honestly, this place could’ve been a solid 5 stars, but every table was dirty and there were cups and plastic utensils on the floor. If they put a bit more effort into keeping the place clean, it’d definitely be a top recommendation when you’re in the downtown area.

Corporate needs to either hire enough people to run the restaurant smoothly or pause pick up orders when they can’t get done. Ordered a singular burrito at 12:20ish, arrived in store around 12:35 when the app said it’d be ready at 12:30. Proceeded to wait an hour in a revolving group of 10-20 people until we were told to go through the normal line to get our food. I feel so bad for everyone working there and having to deal with upper management. Nobody should have to wait an hour in a crowded, messy restaurant for a mediocre $11 burrito.

First time ordering here. Had a pretty bad experience on a takeout order in the chipotle app.

The restaurant was out of guac, lettuce and fajita veggies. They just made the order without them, and the staff forgot to mention that a bunch of ingredients were not included when they handed me the bag.

Also forgot the chicken in one of our three bowls, every flavor of lemonade was out in their soda fountain machines, and most of the soda taps just had fizzy water.

Must have come on a day when a couple of people didn’t show up to work, because the staff there were working hard but unable to keep up with all the issues.

The top of my receipt says , ” Build Your Own Happiness.” Okay…
I walked in and was not greeted. At least a ” Hello”, “What would you like this evening?” Something. I’m starting at the first person of contact for this location so I started the conversation b/c he was not. I tell him I want a bowl. He grabs a bowl and looks up at me. I then tell him I wanted the cilantro rice. He scoops the rice in the bowl, then we get to the beans. He looks up at me again. I then tell him I’d like the Pintos. He scoops the Pintos in my bowl. Next comes the meat choices, which I then asked ” Which is which?” I ask him b/c I want to hear him talk. He proceeds to tell me the meat choices but he talks very low. I tilt my head towards the sneeze guard to indicate that I am having difficulty hearing him and I tell him I cannot hear him. His voice level doesn’t change. My bowl goes to the next worker, a young lady who again does not speak. I say aloud ” Does anyone on this line speak?” I hear her chuckle. At this time a lady is ordering and I actually hear the first guy talk to her. Now im ticked off. I asked the young lady for Pico and some hot salsa. After she puts a drizzle of the hot salsa on ( I didn’t want alot ), I tell her some cheese, and lettuce. While she’s doing that, im listening to the manager and the guy at the register talk about his bus route to work. When the lid is placed on my bowl, I slide to the end of the line and FINALLY the young man describing his bus route asked me if I wanted a drink( I CAN HEAR HIM ) I tell him” No”, he then asks me if I wanted chips/ salsa ( I HEARD THAT TOO) I tell him “No”. As I tapping my card on the card reader, I asked the manager, ” Do your employees have a problem talking to customers?
And do you know what his answer was?
“It depends on the day”. I was outdone. Then I got a ” Have a good evening Sir, enjoy your meal”. Right.
I walked across Fountain Square heated! The more I clenched that Chipotle bag, the angrier I got. When I got close to home, I walked past a Salvation Army on Central Pkwy and I guy was sitting in front of the door wrapped in a blanket. I asked him if he would like some Chipotle. I told him what was in the bowl, my hands never touched it, and the experience left me not hungry anymore. He accepted the bag and I went home.
Somebody was fed last evening. That was good.
Back to the phrase on my receipt, ” Build Your Own Happiness:” What happiness could I have built with that experience? I understand Life, I understand Customer Service, I understand the Service industry being a former Bartender. That’s the answer you give a customer. Okay.

Absolute worst chipotle location there is!!! They are dirty, slow, and have zero drive to work. I preordered my food and when I got there my food wasn’t ready, nor was anyone attempting to make anything as I stood there. I didn’t have time to wait which is why I ordered online so I went back to work. 40 minutes later I got a second to go get it and when I got there it STILL WASNT READY!!!! I had to wait another 10 minutes that I didn’t have on my food. If you’re hungry, whatever you do don’t eat at the chipotle on fountain square downtown. Can’t wait till this place gets shut down.

Visit Taco Time on Glenway because their food is made with real ingredients and authentic recipes. It tastes significantly better and is more flavorful. The other options just don’t compare. I’m also missing the extra check-in added to my bowl, the fajitas, and where’s the romaine?

Luckily whatever food they had to serve was good. I asked for a steak salad. No steak. Ok, how about a chicken salad? No lettuce. Basically threw together whatever they had left which was chicken and rice and it was pretty good. Asked for chips and salsa and the chips were cold and too salty. I get it that there are a lot of people that eat here, but a good manager would make sure they have enough food to serve.

Ordered a single burrito at noon on the app and got it at 12:50. Waited 50 minutes for a slightly better than fast food burrito. Would be nice to know this before ordering or something… especially in the middle of a business center where people have places to be….

This location is dirty and basically ghetto. Refuses to give out water cups. Dirty tables. Not one clean table to be found. Tabasco sauce is in a large quantity refill bottle with no portion control.

FOLLOW UP: Yep. I followed the link that you supplied and got blown off. Waste of time. Stay away from this location and since corporate blows stuff off that is this serious, I will be finding other establishments besides Chipotle.

Terrible service. The restaurant is a mess. All employees having fun and giving food away to friends. Ignored my request. Drink area was a mess. Giving cups to panhandlers and I was approached when trying to get drink where no ice could be found. Use to be good location. Never again!
