No adult supervision. Kids running the place. Tonight, they managed to serve up a bowl with dried out/burnt rice (see photos). I pulled out the clumpy ones to show you but the whole bowl was littered with hard rice grains (likely because they were scrapping the bottom of the rice cooker. Just horrible, almost chipped a tooth.

This location is now on our NO GO list. This experience tracks with all the other negative reviews.

There is also clearly a morale problem amongst the staff members which points to a managerial issue behind the scenes.

And, please, you corporate social media response people, please save your empty comments. Fix this location before saying one more word.

Jay on cash register and his front line crew were o point today. Hey wore smiles and very observant to people’s needs and generally made you want to be in the establishment food was excellent, and I would recommend that that crew today could have somebody see about getting them hooked up because they deserve it more than anyone I’ve seen l. they certainly made AnStand out performance.nMore than anybody at that establishment before.

This Chipotle used to be decent. Now it is easily one of the worst in the Tampa area, and the reason is how it is being run.

There is a male manager who is on duty most days who hovers over the line watching every scoop of meat. I have personally heard him yelling at employees — in Spanish — to stop giving out too much meat and to charge people for double meat. I have also seen him argue with customers about what qualifies as “double meat,” which makes ordering food uncomfortable and tense.

The way portions are handled here feels deliberate and deceptive. This manager often serves customers and treats the meat like a shell game — scooping up a full spoonful, dumping part of it back, then adding a small amount again so it looks like he is giving you extra. At the same time, the meat is chopped into very small pieces and spread thinly over the rice to make it appear like more than it really is. Even when you pay for double meat, it still does not look or feel like a true double portion compared to other Chipotle locations. I have also noticed that the serving spoons themselves seem smaller than they used to be.

The only reason the bowls end up looking full at all is because they load up the cheapest ingredients — rice, beans, lettuce, corn — while being extremely stingy with the protein you are actually paying for. That is not value, it’s a tactic to make skimpy portions look acceptable.

Because of this obsession with cutting costs, the food quality has dropped badly. The meat often tastes off or low-grade, and the guacamole is watery. When a bowl with extra meat and guacamole comes to $20, this level of quality is unacceptable.

While this manager spends all his time policing portions, cleanliness is ignored. The prep area behind the glass is frequently messy with spilled ingredients and dirty surfaces. I have seen employees wipe things down with dirty rags and then immediately handle food. I have also seen workers touch prep items without gloves and cough behind the counter near uncovered food.

This location now feels like a chaotic, cost-cutting operation where customers are shorted, quality is sacrificed, and the employees look miserable here.

Chipotle corporate should seriously look at what is happening here. Until there is new management and real oversight, this location is not worth going to anymore.

This is the wrist chipotle anywhere! I get that everyone hates their job these days. I mean it’s to the point of not even pretending to care.
Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy is the word I would use to describe this place.
Special shout out to the girl employee on her lunch break plain Spanish music so we can hear it in the dining room! Get some ear buds!
Next time I’m over here and want chipotle, I’m just gonna drive the extra few minutes up the road and go to the one in Westchase

This place is trash! Store opens, Manager doesn’t even have the drawer in, then staff starts making food, and makes everyone wait another 15 min. While food gets cold! Thats just this time, this is hands down the worst chipotle in the Bay Area! Maybe Chipotle should make some moves here! Smh! Just keep driving! Avoid this one!

Ok now I see. I just read through the terrible reviews of this location so it all makes sense now. The fast fix is simple: DO NOT GO TO THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION. Story time. Today, Sunday, September 28 I asked for white rice only in a kids meal because most kids won’t want greens in their rice (shocker!). The Linebaugh location has 0 problems meeting this simple request- never flinched in accomodating which is why our preschool holds our annual spirit night there. Your manager not only refused but also wouldn’t explain why nor would share her name when asked (just shook her head) and the guy working the register said he “wasn’t allowed” to give names out. I was very calm and pleasant btw- just asked for an explanation. Is this a joke!? This has happened before at this establishment (see the review)… in all of my years in hospitality I have NEVER heard of such nonsense. What are you hiding Chipotle? Why are your employees not able or willing to share their names?? Particularly your onsite manager! Something is very off about this location and the consistent bad reviews prove it. Corporate needs to shine a light on this franchisee.

The staff here is really kind and patient. A woman was being extremely difficult and disruptive in the middle of an evening rush, and the staff handled it as calmly as possible. As someone who works in retail, I understand how difficult it can be for guests to cause a scene in the middle of rushes over nothing. I admire the staffs patience and their ability to continue to be kind with other guests, even in the face of a true “Karen”. Shouts out to you guys

This was the WORST Chipotle experience ever. I visited the location by Citrus Park Mall on December 1st and was extremely disappointed. I ordered a build-your-own bowl smoked brisket kid’s meal for my daughter, but it came with everything except the smoked brisket. On top of that, they charged me extra for every side, including lettuce! I ended up paying over $10 for what was essentially a vegetarian kid’s meal.

This location used to be great, but it’s definitely going downhill. While it’s in a convenient spot, the food and service are absolutely 0 stars. I won’t be coming back unless serious improvements are made.

WORST CHIPOTLE EXPERIENCE BY FAR!

The staff here seem to be mostly college-aged, and unfortunately, many lack basic communication and interpersonal skills. We were met with poor attitudes from the moment we walked in, with no sense of customer service.

Food: Ordered a chicken burrito bowl and got exactly three pieces of chicken. We also ordered two kids’ quesadillas (apparently, regular-sized ones are only available if you order online). Each quesadilla is supposed to come with chips and a drink, but we only received one set. When I asked about the missing items, I was told we were only charged for one side and drink. Online, however, the menu clearly shows that each meal includes a side and drink for the same price listed on their in-store menu.

Atmosphere: We ate outside and could see the staff talking and seemingly complaining about us. The moment we walked back inside, they quickly dispersed and became quiet.

Cleanliness: After waiting for the restroom to become available, an associate came out. Inside, I found the toilet seat dirty, an empty toilet roll on the floor, and paper strewn everywhere.

Overall, a very poor experience. I won’t be coming back here again!
