80% of chips were COATED in oil. Please see image with chip in hand (normal) next to chips in bowl (too oily to eat).
Fajita veggies were missing in both bowls and no communication was made. This comprised 1/3 of one of the meals and lead to a bowl being served with just meat and beans, nothing else.
Guac was contaminated with cheese and lettuce. No cheese was ordered in our meal so this was an issue.
Overall an incredibly disappointing experience from someone who used to love Chipotle. Our delivery arrived over 10 minutes early and the food was hot. None of the issues mentioned were the courier’s fault.
Finally, the women’s restrooms had two inches of sitting water over the entire floor for the whole day with no yellow caution sign because someone didn’t dry up the mop water let alone bother to warn the public about the safety hazard. An obvious slip and fall hazard.
I placed an order online, hoping that the store would not be out of ingredients and could fulfill my order.
It was late at night, about 30 mins before closing, and I knew it was risky considering stores usually try to wrap things up so they can leave right at closing.
I arrived in hopes of my order being ready, and it was— or so I thought…
The order was already paid for online, and I requested a limited-edition steak with queso and chips….
The young lady at the counter seemed sweet, but everything seemed a bit too good to be true, and her energy read “he’s gonna be pissed about something,” though she said nothing.
I happily took the order, which was sealed, and as soon as I opened the bag (after walking back to my car), I noticed— the chips were missing— I walked back to the door, to whom I met— the young lady from the counter—she seemed sweet— she politely asked me what was wrong, and I told her the chips were missing…
She said she’d give me a refund in cash and gave me $2.85—though the chips and queso (I returned the queso to her) were $4.50+
I said nothing and was hoping to enjoy my meal until I pulled off and noticed there were no fajita veggies in my quesadilla as requested….
There was also no white rice in the meal as I requested….
Simply put— if you don’t have the items in stock— provide a full refund instead of half-filling an order and leaving a customer under the impression that they have exactly what they paid for when they do not.
I love Chipotle, but this experience was extremely unsatisfactory and could’ve gone so much better if they would’ve been up front and honest and stated they did not want to make the ingredients needed to fulfill the order before closing.
I would’ve understood and accepted a full refund, but to take money from someone and not fulfill the order properly is unacceptable.
When we got home, my quesadilla was missing all the sides, and the bowl portion was very small. It was clear the sides had never been in the box because it was so clean, which also shows the guac and queso were genuinely forgotten.
We drove back to ask for it to be remade or to have it refunded and the employees did remake it but they were rude about it. We noticed an employee say to another “here comes someone bringing back something AGAIN” which makes me think mistakes happen a lot at this location. Returned home again and realized the quesadilla was STILL made incorrectly
One of the employees was bragging to me about how this one is the “cool” Chipotle, but apparently that just means they’re lazy and don’t care.
We’ve had a few bad experiences at this location, but this one was definitely the worst.
Edit: The bowl gave my boyfriend food poisoning on top of everything else avoid this location at all costs
Well, giving an extra star than normal because this location has smiling and personable staff, the rice and corn was tasty and the restaurant was clean. The staff was happy to find a new bottle of Smoked Tabasco since all the bottles were empty, no one keeping an eye on the stock.
They still have poor quality steak, very tough and not hot, not even warm. I think it’s time for Chipotle to rethink what type of cows they source, how they keep it warm and how to cook it correctly. Or maybe just don’t order the steak anymore as it seems to be all Chipotles. The chips are also always a little chewy, not sure if not cooked fully or just sitting around too long.
Better attempt than the Orlando area restaurants.
