Additionally, I witnessed one of the food handlers putting on gloves to prepare a to-go order without first washing their hands. One of the managers was eating McDonald’s and using their phone on top of the food prep table. When I inquired about a designated area for employee meals, the manager stated that there was none.
The counters were cluttered with towels, old orders, food items, and general disarray. This was particularly concerning given that the General Manager had reportedly left the store just minutes prior, according to the manager on duty.
Whereas I opted for a chicken burrito bowl, my wife ordered a veggie one with white rice, pinto beans, selected salsas, and fajita veggies. Service was quick and courteous. It was a mixed experience. Whereas the veggie bowl was very good, the chicken one was just reasonably good. There were just a couple of small pieces of chicken in the entire bowl, and these, too, were not juicy enough. Except for this, we thoroughly enjoyed our food in the outdoor area.
The tractor lemonade was pretty refreshing.
The food was fresh, well-prepared, and generously portioned, but what really stood out was the teamwork and positive energy behind the counter. You can tell they take pride in what they do and care about the customer experience. This location sets the standard for great service. Huge shoutout to the staff for making my visit such a good one—I’ll definitely be back.
Last week, I had to wait 10 minutes for beans. This week, it was chicken. I always try to be polite to the employees because I know they may be having a tough day, and I never want to be rude. But being told that chicken is available—they just don’t know how long it will take to be cut—is not an acceptable answer.
At this point, going to this Chipotle feels like a waste of time every single visit.

My second experience with this location mirrored the disappointing results of the first, despite ordering the same items.
Food Preparation and Portioning Issues:
Missing Ingredients:
My single soft taco contained barely three small pieces of Romaine lettuce, indicating a consistent failure to include standard ingredients.
Insufficient Side Portions: All three side cups (Black Beans, Brown Rice, and Medium Corn) were barely filled. The portioning in the side containers was noticeably sparse.
Missing Utensils: No fork was included in the takeout bag.
Store Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues:
Dining Area: The floor needed sweeping, and multiple tables required immediate wiping and sanitation.
Entrance: Both entrance doors were dirty and needed to be wiped down.
Conclusion
This was my second visit to this location, with the intent of giving the restaurant a fair chance to improve. The repeated failures in both portioning accuracy and basic restaurant hygiene are concerning. I am providing this feedback as a “heads up” before publishing a formal review. The lack of attention to detail and cleanliness requires immediate attention. I understand it can’t be perfect all the time. However, after a rush tables should be wiped down, any counter top also. Drinks should be refilled regularly no one should have to stand or and wait for self service drinks. When low refill. I saw management wiping outside tables. Scott may not always come when scheduled but others are watching.
