First time EVER going to Chipotle. I had my doubts, but the cheese quesadilla was excellente; same for the loaded bean & cheese burrito!!

Lemonade was good; 66% sugar will have me bouncin’ off the walls tonight!! But, it was great!!

We’ll definitely be back; Happy Thanksgiving!!

UPDATES BELOW ORIGINAL REVIEW:

Food is USALLY great. Sometimes I’ll go around 6 or later and it seems like there’s only 1 or 2 people running the place and the food quality takes a hard hit (understandable). There’s 1 guy and 1 female and she’s usually outside/outback smoking while he is doing everything including cooking. HE deserves a raise he is always upbeat and making jokes when I come in. Very great dude his hard work does not go unnoticed

Update: i was a literal daily customer. Used to love eating here after the gym but. The Place has went extremely far downhill just like the cherrydale location. Tonight I went at 9pm just to be told they were out of EVERYTHING, I asked for just chips and queso and was told they were out. Yet I can see chips stacked from outside ‍♂️ almost all the employees were sitting at the tables except for one mopping.. Ive given up on this location and chipotle in general at this point as this seems to be a trend with all their locations. Recently ive gotten the honey chipotle chicken and its been extremely covered in sauce, extremely spicy or shredded instead of chopped. Im not sure how these mistakes are made. Last few times the queso has been a shade of brown so I’ve skipped getting it. I REALLY REALLY wish chipotle was reliable as it’s the only semi healthy and fresh “fast food” around

Update again 8/14/25 came in at 11 am. Sign in the door saying card only. Had maybe 8 employees working and was told they wouldnt open for another hour + because they had their entire opening shift call out… im not sure why I gave this place another chance. There’s just nowhere else around here to get grilled chicken other than chic fila. Pictures and video posted. Seems like they had everything ready except tomatoes and corn yet I wasnt allowed to order.

Just want to make sure its clear, im not mad or irritated with the employees that ARE working. Im just annoyed/tired of the terrible management/lack of that has been a consistent issue with this place

The BEST Chipotle I’ve ever visited! I frequent Chipotle restaurants 2-3 times per week, and this was by far the best one I’ve ever visited. The place was very clean, the staff were friendly and kind, and the food tasted better than other locations. It was like someone decided to actually season the chicken. The fajita veggies were cooked perfectly, not too crunchy and not overcooked. Excellent Job Chipotle in TR!

Used the mobile app to order our food and had no issues with that. It wasn’t until we got home that we could see how bad the food was going to be. The beans were overly watery and mushy( which I’ve never seen before at a chipotle). The chicken was visibly burnt, and the rice was overly cooked and crunchy. Was so disappointed in our food and we live over 20 minutes away, so wasn’t going to drive back to report it.

My brother and I arrived at this location expecting a scrumptious meal and excellent service after a long and brutal day at work and we received the scraps. They did not have the regular chicken or chicken Al pastor which was very disappointing, the steak wasn’t even serviceable according to the worker serving us, but that’s not all the queso was also completely dried out and we couldn’t even get a full serving of the little dried up queso that they had. We ended up having to pay full price for not even a full meal. We are very disappointed with everything that occurred today and warn people to be wary coming here

I didn’t have the best impression of Chipotle after going to the Cherrydale location. It took me a long time to go here, because I was concerned that it would be like the Cherrydale store. It’s not. It was very clean. I went with my mom and they talked her through the process of ordering food. I love their red chimichurri sauce.

This is absolutely unacceptable and absurd. It’s unbelievable that I spent my hard earned money on a bunch of scraps. A long day of working, looking forward to eating food and the staff couldn’t even provide a full meal as they dumped dried up queso and meat scraps in MY HALF FILLED BOWL! What a disgrace to Chipotle! I will take my business to Cherrydale where they actually care for their customers.

I was in the Travelers Rest store on December 29, 2025 around 1:05pm with my wife. My wife was the first to order. A burrito with no protein. The employee (young female with long braided ponytail) scraped about a ¾ spoon of white rice (there was no brown rice). After adding a skimpy spoon of beans, she went to the cold section where she was only able to scrape out a half a spoon of Pico, then added the lettuce and sour cream. I was next and was ordering a chicken bowl. I wanted white rice, which she said there was not much left, and proceeded to scrape out another ½ spoon of rice. I then wanted the chicken and she advised me there was not any left, then asked staff members when the chicken would be ready and was advised 5 minutes. She never inquired about white rice or Pico. While I was waiting, I looked around and saw an employee filling a container with fresh Pico, which was picked up by another employee and taken to the meal prep table used for Drive Thru and online orders. On that table, I could see a full container of white rice, Pico and chicken, so I asked the female employee why she couldn’t go over to that station and make my meal. She just stared at me, ignoring my question. My wife thought she didn’t hear me so she repeated the request, which generated another blank stare. I assume this is a corporate policy to only use the front food prep station for instore customers and the back station for Drive Thru and online orders only. We will never, ever return to your location or any other Chipoltes. CAVA and Panera have really improved their service and offerings, including portions. Sad that Chipotle is so focused on profit margins vs. the customer experience. I now put Chipotle in the company of Wendy’s and Hardee’s for quality and experience. So sad.

The location was a bit frustrating to access, with the driveway tucked behind the building and no clear signage from the main road. Once inside, the store was clean and the staff were generally friendly. However, I stood at the counter for a minute before anyone acknowledged me, despite several employees nearby.

The food itself was mostly what you’d expect from Chipotle — consistent and satisfying — but I did find a couple of bones or joints in the chicken, which definitely shouldn’t have made it into the serving line.

Overall, it was an okay experience. Not bad, but not great either. A few small improvements in service and food prep would make a big difference.
