Last time I went I had a mobile order for a quesadilla. When i got in my car, the bottom of my bag was soaked. It happens, I figured it was grease. No. Whoever bagged my food mustve 3 pointed it into the bag from across the room. I got green salsa as a side, and it leaked into the box, covered my quesadilla, and leaked through. I got green salsa all over my seat.
Today, I wanted to claim my free entree, which again, I received because last time my order was assembled terribly. While she was making my burrito, I asked for green salsa. She put half of a scoop of the liquid, not the actual salsa. So, I asked for a LITTLE more green salsa, and she put a heaping scoop on top of what she had already put on there. If i paid for this burrito I would have absolutely had it remade, when she was rolling it, salsa was leaking out of every side. It felt apart from the salsa about 3 bites in, so I ended up eating it like a bowl.
Lastly, this place is just gross. I’ve never been in here and it’s been cleaned. Food all over every table and on the floor. And the workers stand behind the line cussing and joking. Theres a new Chipotle that just opened nearby, please go to that one instead.
We are traveling from out of state.
We walked in being greeted kindly by the staff. I noticed right away how clean this location was.
Jerry kindly asked if he could take my order.
I told Jerry right off that we have food allergies.
Usually I have to over explain because many people in the food industry don’t know what food allergies are, or how to carefully prepare food with out a reaction occurring. And many employees have told us they cannot serve us because of the allergies.
Jerry right away knew exactly how to serve us safely. My family is so thankful to have been shown such southern hospitality and kindness, as well as have our food allergies understood as to not have a reaction. It means the world to us! Thank you for making our night!
They blamed another customer when they forgot to make my order. I was there before pickup time so I waited patiently and I know my order never came out. When I told them about it, they took the opportunity to train someone. Unfortunately, that person could not be trained… and handed me a wadded up bag with a half-covered folded burrito.
I had to beg for my food and it was clearly made by people who don’t care at all… like, it’s a new, post-post-covid low here.
This location has been going downhill for a while. If you expect even less than your normal lowered expectations, it’ll be fine.
There was no communication available from the employees. They just don’t care. They speak in grunts and whispers… they are bothered by your presence. So the idea of an apology is lost on them. I certainly didn’t get one.. or any responses to my questions.. I got a poorly made bowl and a destroyed half-wrapped burrito. I felt I should be thankful that I got to have the lunch I bought.
Oh, and I had already given a tip on the online order… sheesh.
Corporate customer service responded to me about this incident and said they’d give me a credit for a free bag of chips and guacamole if I ordered within 30 days. (I don’t like chips or guac.. the corporate rep couldn’t be bothered to look at my order history.) Also, they’ll forward my info to the manager.. the same manager that walked by me and went to lunch during peak time.
Good luck everyone!
