I have ordered takeout on the app, my experiences have been hit or miss, mostly missed. The food they make when you are not watching them prepare it usually is mostly terrible.I gave up on them for quite awhile. I had a few good experiences . Tried again a recently has been hit or miss, mostly big misses! I recently returned a bowl that was horrible, missing items sloppy construction. Don’t get me wrong the concept is solid the execution not so much . The location near me is Portsmouth Va 1805 Fredrick Blvd. The manager who I will not name was friendly enough, he offered to remake my order , he got a little snippy when he thought I wanted to keep the original order. Why would I want to keep an order that I found to be low quality and visually repulsive? Don’t get me wrong I have had great food from that location, I need consistency to continue to continue to support the brand!

This is one of the slowest, sloppiest and most unkept shops I’ve visited. I waited nearly an hour for an online order. I spent that time thanking the stars the food I was waiting on was not for me. Had it been, I would have walked out for my own safety. One glove on, one glove off and touching everything, but never change gloves seems to be the store policy. Gross.

The staff are extremely rude, and the portions are intentionally very small for paying customers. However, they serve their own employees much larger portions right in front of customers, which is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.
When you ask for a little more food, they immediately ask if you’re going to pay extra.
If certain ingredients are unavailable, instead of explaining politely, they have an attitude like, “If you don’t like it, don’t eat it.” That kind of mindset has no place in customer service.
Poor service, unfair treatment, and a terrible overall experience. I will never come back and do not recommend this place to anyone.

They had ONE person on the line and one at the cash register. The person who was on the line making the food was clearly very new and should not have been alone making orders he was very slow and the portions he was putting in burritos and bowls was ridiculous. But even then i accepted it as i could tell he was new. When it got time to wrap my burrito he didn’t know how to wrap and asked the cashier for help. The cashier then came over with gloves on he was just handling money with and proceeded to wrap my burrito. I said something to him about that he stormed off and changed gloves like what i said was wrong. I then said i didn’t want the burrito I’ll take just the bowl. No apology or anything just annoyance! Horrible customer service. Typical Portsmouth experience! I wouldn’t go here if you can help it!

It’s cilantro lime rice and the rice was hard and the cilantro was brown!

AVOID THIS LOCATION. For some reason they did not have rice at peak lunch hours. They said it would be 10 minutes. Okay no big deal right. 15 minutes later they say oh it’s cooking slow it will be another 15 minutes. Not great but fine. Finally 50 minutes total now have gone by and they say oh it will be 60 more minutes. WHAT How is that possible? No explanation. Very poor management. Does not want to take any responsibility.

I had placed in order for my husband and I and when I received it I noticed that the co workers did not placed certain food items on the bowl. I feel like they were pretty quite stingy with the amount of portions was given in the bowl and I paid nearly $20 for it just to receive a half bowl instead of a full. Highly disappointed.

Everyone was ok overall but even though they have hats on everyone’s hair was going everywhere one employee had an apron on and it pulled his shirt up so high his butt was hanging out everywhere. Personal grooming is terrible here most of the employees look like they just rolled out of bed and they are touching food. Kinda gross

My partner and I went when the weather was a bit yucky for a quick bite to eat. Most of the staff seemed a little tired and edging on unfriendly. My partner ordered his food and was rushed through the line, as I began to order, another employee yelled to me across the store to ask a question, which interrupted me speaking to the other employee, instead of allowing me to finish ordering and get to the cashier. She seemed on edge and eager to leave, which was confirmed when she tossed my burrito bowl into the bag which caused her to drop the bag on to the counter. The whole thing seemed very unnecessary as there was no true need to rush, we were the only ones in the store until the end. However, the disappointing service aside, the food was well made, and they were generous with the queso this time. There was also an employee who was cooking on the grill who seemed to be having a good time and was doing a little dance, which did help the vibe seem a bit more lighthearted.
