Employees are rude.
Bathrooms are poorly stocked and men’s room floor is slick. Almost like someone used a mop with grease on it.

We ordered around 7:15 on 2/4 and it was told to be done by 7:30, we ended up not getting our order until 8:15pm and was told there were 7 orders ahead of us and then that they ran out of chicken right before our order was done. My bowl was made correctly other than the fact it had an extreme amount of lime in the rice (why i only ate half of the bowl to begin with). My fiance ate his burrito and i ate some of my chicken in the car outside of the chipotle and left about 20 minutes later(we live in Virginia beach so the drive was about 40 minutes). My fiance was about to reheat the chicken for me and just give me rice we had at home which is when he started noticing some of the pieces were raw. I contacted support that day to give a private comment card on it, got an email back two days later, emailed INSTANTLY back. have not heard since. i was sick for the next day and unfortunately dont have health insurance so had to deal with it. i would think if there was raw food involved they would care a bit more but i guess not.

Guys never have I ever been to a chipotle that gives you SO MUCH of everything. It was amazing. Takes genuine talent to roll up the burritos and close the lids on those bowls holy cow. The strength of those tortillas are miraculous. 10/10 would recommend. Would be back everyday if I actually lived in this state. Best chipotle I’ve ever been to.

Chipotle has always been a go-to spot for those looking for a fast, customizable meal that’s also on the healthier side. I’ve had my fair share of visits, and while the experience is generally positive, there are a few things that I think need some attention to elevate the overall experience.

The Experience:

First off, the lines can get long during lunchtime, especially around the midday rush. I try to avoid the rush and only come at times when they are not as busy, so I’m usually in and out.

The Food:

When it comes to the food, I find Chipotle to be a solid option for anyone trying to eat healthily without compromising on flavor. My usual go-to is the burrito bowl with double chicken. The portions are generous, enough for a hearty meal, and I usually end up with leftovers for later—usually a second meal. The overall meal is a decent-sized serving, but the protein portions can feel a little skimpy sometimes. I’ve noticed that they seem to under-portion the protein, making you feel like you’re not getting your money’s worth unless you opt for the double protein. I’ve had bowls that didn’t seem to have nearly enough meat, especially when compared to the regular portion. This was made even clearer after a frustrating online ordering experience.

The Online Ordering Experience:

Now, here’s where things took a turn. I decided to try online ordering for pickup once, which ended up being a huge letdown. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl with double protein, paid for it, drove to pick it up, and got home excited to eat in front of the TV. But when I opened the bowl, I found barely any meat. Seriously, it was barely enough to cover a single forkful. It was like they ran out of chicken & they just sprinkled a few bits of chicken throughout to make it look like they gave me double protein, but it was far from it. Naturally, I was heated.

I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who was very understanding. She apologized and asked me to bring the bowl back so they could fix it. I didn’t want to make another trip, but I decided to go back anyway since I wanted to get what I paid for. Fortunately, the team member who helped me at the restaurant quickly corrected the issue and gave me the double portion I had paid for.

Since that incident, I’ve avoided online orders here entirely and only order in person, where the food seems to be assembled much more reliably.

The Service:

For the most part, in-person service has been smooth. I’ve never had an issue with ordering at the counter. However, there was one small issue with the cash register during a recent visit. I made a purchase that totaled $14.95, I gave the cashier $15, and was given my receipt and food. But when I checked my receipt later at home, I noticed that I hadn’t gotten my 5-cent change. While it’s a minor amount, I do think it’s the principle of the thing. I don’t care if it’s a penny or a nickel—cashiers should always give you your change. It was a small oversight, but it’s a detail that matters.

My Final Thoughts:

Chipotle is an excellent choice for a quick, healthy meal. The food is tasty, and you get a pretty good value for the price. I think with a few adjustments, such as more consistency in protein portions (and maybe a little more attention to small details like giving back change) and keeping the lobby clean, this place could easily hit 5 stars.

Overall, it’s a reliable and convenient option for when you’re craving something fresh and healthy, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite. Just stick to ordering in person if you want to avoid any hiccups with online orders!

The lead line person that took our order was very reluctant to be at work today. I watched him take a drink from his water bottle, open/close the lid with the gloves he had been serving others with, wrapped a lady’s tortillas with same contaminated gloves and tried to take my order with them still. I politely ask him to change his gloves and then suddenly he moves at sloth speed. While taking my full order he’s flinging spoons around possibly annoyed that I even asked him to change his gloves.
The line area needed to be tended to, but he was more focused on talking to someone outside the line and back in the kitchen, rather than hearing my order.
Very unprofessional and pretty doggone rude. He could have switched with someone like he did when my man’s order was taken. Asking you to be sanitary shouldn’t warrant such an attitude!

Ordered via mobile and this was the nearest location, and silly me… I didn’t bother to look up reviews because it’s Chipotle! They’re usually quick and consistent. Holy cow…so many regrets. I now understand why this location has such negative reviews. No one was calling out orders so you had no idea if your food was ready, and the cashier seemed annoyed people were ordering food at a food establishment. Not to mention their “build your own bowl” meal kit thing that is supposed to serve 4 to 6 is an absolute joke. I could have spent the same amount of money and gotten 4 individual bowls that would have fed the amount of people I needed to. Horrible. Avoid this location.

Edited to add photo of the pathetic $75 build your own bowl pack

Just go somewhere else to eat y’all.

It is NEVER worth it to eat somewhere where they have the audacity to put the food on a scale in front of you.

They have the nerve to charge the prices they do, and yet nickel and dime you further to your face?

Chipotle. I promise you, that your executives make enough money. They will be just fine, if paying customers get a little extra protein . Not. Coming. Back.

My pick-up order was an hour late- in fact many people’s orders were late, but that’s not even why I made this review. One of the employees was extremely unprofessional, and used cursed words because a customer is rightfully so, curious about their order. I made a report to corporate about her, and they were very kind and understanding of the situation and were apologetic. However, this employee’s behavior was not only unprofessional but unnecessary. I was disgusted.

One star is even too much for this place. Absolutely disgusting, no quality control, no oversight, no management presence. Workers are extremely rude. The drink station was completely empty, every table was dirty, one person on the line that could care less that they were out of everything. Will not eat at Chipotle again because of this place.

If i could rate this store 0 stars I would, how do you constantly run out of chicken? If you see your getting low you need to put another batch on… It is absolutely too many employees that work here at once to not have someone on the grill at all times!
