Asked for food to be remade because there was a BUG (A ACTUAL BUG IN MY FOOD) and when asked to be remade the girl at the register said that it wasn’t a bug AS IF I WASN’T LOOKIN AT THE BUG … then she went to the back and started laughing came back and said there’s nothing we can do, I can’t give free food … It’s not about free food it’s about REMAKING A ORDER THAT HAD A BUG … overall I always have issues with this chipotle they either rude , disrespectful, make fun of you, they are not welcoming unless you one of they people , at the end of the day if u want a good chipotle , don’t come here…
However, when I went to pay, | was surprised to see a charge of $20.74 significantly more than my usual total of $18.18. When I inquired about the extra cost, Israel explained that they are charging me extra portion of brisket. I appreciated his clarity but was confused, as I had specifically requested both brisket and steak, not an extra serving of brisket.
To resolve the issue, Israel suggested to give back the food that was with me and re-queue to re-order for what I want. I agreed, but then Claudia shouted at me across the store asking whether I wanted white or brown rice. I felt this could have been communicated more politely. Another customer even chimed in, agreeing with me about the tone. Claudia eventually lowered her voice, but by then, I was already feeling frustrated with the experience.
l asked for the manager’s contact number, only to learn from Israel that he and Claudia were the managers on duty. He provided the contact for Mabel Vasquez, the general manager, but my call went unanswered with an automated busy message.
I genuinely believe that this establishment has great potential, but I hope they can improve their communication and customer service. I’m looking forward to giving them another chance, as I know they can do better!
We did order directly at the restaurant, so we can’t speak at all on behalf of the online ordering. But in person went very smoothly and we will definitely go back again.
