I have been ordering from Chipotle Mexican Grill – Sudley Rd for quite some time, and unfortunately it has become very inconsistent. It is truly hit or miss. I regularly spend a good amount of money here, yet the portions are extremely small for the price. The chicken and beef portions in particular are almost always skimpy, which is frustrating considering the cost.
The chips are also consistently stale and very hard. They taste old and overcooked, which makes the experience even more disappointing.
The service has also declined. I consistently place mobile orders to save time, but I end up waiting far too long just to get someone’s attention to hand me my order. That completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. The cashier is often right there but continues ringing up customers in line while ignoring customers waiting for pickup. A quick pause to assist pickup orders would make a significant difference.
Overall, the experience no longer matches the price point. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I stopped by this chipotle Mexican Grill for lunch and must say that it was a pretty good experience overall. There’s plenty of parking, the decor is warm and inviting, the staff is very friendly and the food was very fresh. I ordered a honey chicken burrito bowl and it was prepared very quickly. There is also an outdoor patio if you wish to sit outside. It was a pretty good experience overall. In fact, I actually stopped by the next day for dinner as well. I highly recommend!

Came in for a bowl. Asked for a tortilla on the side but due to how quickly they were rushing on my order (it’s literally empty) they still forgot to bag my tortilla. I felt like they were more concerned about getting me out of the way than getting my order done correctly.

I like coming to this location portions are great! But today unfortunately I guess I went when it was busy. They had a total of 6 people serving. I needed to do 3 orders. I had 3 different people trying to talk to me asking me what I want in my bowls ant the same time and it was confusing!. First time this happens. I normally just see two people serving and have no issues at all. Again, this is my favorite location, I like the portion and the food. Is normally clean and staff are nice. BUT today I can’t explain how confuse and desperate I felt trying to give my attention to 3 staff members that were asking me what I wanted in my orders.
Came back I was charged for a kids guacamole meal but really what I ordered was different.

This is your standard Chipotle location. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the staff are all courteous and professional, and the food was made quickly and as requested. If you want Chipotle, this location is a good one. We ate inside the restaurant and everything was relatively clean (all the tables and seats, I mean).
Oh, and most importantly, this location has Mr Pibb. For those interested in such things, as many restaurants in Northern Virginia do not.

My least favorite chipotle but unfortunately the closest one to us. Every time we go (and we’ve been numerous times) the food just tastes of lower quality. The chicken usually has a lot of fat and is chewy compared to other Chipotles. The staff are usually younger and careless. They move slow and complain with an attitude when you ask for particular items on the side. We try to avoid this one but today put the icing on the cake. Will continue to avoid from now on.

The worst chipotle of the area! I have given many opportunities to this place but definitely the attitude of the workers is terrible especially the women who attend are always fighting for anything, they are not friendly, they do not want to give good customer service and the food is nothing compared to other Chipotle restaurants I definitely prefer to drive 20 minutes to go to the other restaurant than come to this place that is closer but it is the worst in food and service! I hope the manager can control his workers and above all treat customers well

The food & workers are great but I feel so uncomfortable with random guys standing in front of the entrance begging for money & food. I was approached by one of them & I told them sorry I don’t have any cash on me. This location is the only location I have a problem with them speaking in spanish amongst one another when they want to add a charge. Little do they know I’m Dominican and I speak Spanish. If you’re going to charge me it’s not about how much but having the respect to tell the consumer, the one who is paying. It’s not about the up charge for a side of corn, it’s the fact that this is the only location that sneaks it in when they aren’t supposed to do that unless it’s protein. You work at CHIPOTLE, the least you can do is have decent customer service. When k confronted them that I knew what she said her excuse was that her cashier speaks spanish but then tells me my total in English, proceeding to say you look spanish. So which one is it? You thought you were going to say it in a different language and someone not understand you. I purposely don’t speak Spanish when I come in to see if they talk about you for wanting your choices and in all the locations I go to, this one is consistent with the 1-2 times a year I don’t care enough to drive 10 minutes farther to another location. Never again, I’ll just drive farther for better service and fresher food at a location in a busier area.
