DO NOT GO TO THIS CHIPOTLE. I ordered double protein and barbacoa and received this disgusting bowl ! the meat isn’t cooked fully and i paid nearly $30 online and left a note just for them to mess up the order . if i can give this place 0 stars i would . this chipotle should be either shutdown or be given new management or workers because obviously none of them know how to do their job . again DO NOT ORDER FROM NEWTON PA CHIPOTLE

When I say I thought I was on an episode of “What would you do”…
I thought I must’ve stepped onto the set of a prank TV show, when the wait to get to the point of ordering the food was over 20 minutes with ONE customer in front of me. Then, when I ordered the two employees were moving comically- and aggravatingly slow. Then, finally time to pay, and they suddenly couldn’t get the register to work at all- card, cash, etc. Im not one to expect a freebie, but honestly the least they could do after the painful experience would be to let me have my bowl free of charge, or at least offer an apology. Multiple employees, and a call to management later, the register was suddenly functional, great. I got to take home my cold steak bowl. It was legitimately cold, and the quesadilla cheese wasn’t melted at all. It fell right out of the wrap. Complete waste. Actually the worst Chipotle I’ve ever been to. Management and owners should be deeply concerned with the state of this store. It’s in dire need of help.

This Chipotle is so consistently bad it’s almost impressive. I don’t expect fine dining, its fast food. But I’ve never had one so poorly run that I’d rather drive 30 minutes to another location.
Newtown is a great area, there’s really no excuse for this location to be this disorganized every single time. You have one job. This is embarrassing for the brand.

I have gone to this chipotle several times and I’ve never had such a bad experience till today. My steak in my bowl was RAW, the guacamole was OLD, and then my order looked like it was put together by a blind person. This is unbelievable, and then I go to complain on the app and it won’t let me!!!! Never will I ever come back to this chipotle again!

The dining room experience is disappointing. With plenty of staff and no line, there was no one monitoring the tables and cleaning them down. Every single table was a mess. This location has one of the worst cleanliness standards in the area.

Staff working were incredible hostile, rude, and disrespectful. After the chipotle bag broke and I asked for a replacement for the food that fell on ground, the manager debated me, and said it was my fault while one of the female employees mocked me. I have never had such a terrible experience with poor customer service. This staff needs training on respect to customers immediately. These workers were unpleasant and rude.
I contacted customer service and my food replacement was given- but that is not what this review is about. It is about the disrespect from the employees.

Very inconsistent. Sometimes you get a small portion. Sometimes the proteins are over seasoned. Sometimes the chips taste good and other times they taste stale.
An improvement they have made is that the rice is consistently edible now. It didn’t use to be, we would have to recook the rice because it was still crunchy. This used to happen frequently enough that we stopped ordering. This was a couple years ago.
We often make decisions about how much to order based on who is working and what the food looks like. All in all, they are better than they were a few years ago.

Just walked in there to grab dinner. There were 3 people in front of us in line, 10 people working, and it still took 25 minutes to get food. They were out of guac, vinaigrette, and mild salsa. The cashier was so incompetent that I don’t even think he knew what day of the week it was. There were about 5 other groups waiting for things they needed to complete their order. The store was filthy; food was everywhere. You’re better off starving than going to this Chipotle.

Messy. Counters are messy and floors are dirty. You’d think with 4 of them standing around talking at least one could clean up a bit. The lettuce is a bit soggy and gross. No forks! No forks and they couldn’t care less. They could have told me when I ordered a salad that they had no forks so I could have ordered something else. The salad dressing was a mess. It was all over the outside of the container. Greasy fingerprints all over it and some sort of slimy black and green object.
Update 3/18/2024- gave this location another shot. Filthy tables covered with food scraps and paper waste. We had to sit outside. No burritos, no fajita vegetables, no salad dressing, no iced tea. Pinto beans were dry and nasty. Trash cans packed full. Eat in and take out food prep areas are a mess. This was at 6PM.
Easily one of the worst run Chipotle locations.

As it is with all Chipotle’s, your food will look like it was made by a room of kindergarten students, and will assuredly contain at least one large piece of meat that is entirely skin and fat. If your rice is fully cooked, then rest assured something else will either be burnt or raw. The atmosphere is non-existent. The concrete, plywood and stainless steel is reminiscent of the mess hall in a prison. The young people who are automatically paid above minimum wage still act like they were forced into working there as a form of punishment and is if you are their jailor. Smiles, chat, or any attempt to avoid the nasty bit of skin fat meat isn’t going to happen. Just keep movingand pay and leave. I really don’t like Chipotle.
