UPDATED POSITIVE REVIEW:
I wrote a critical review a few months ago after having a good run followed by a very bad run of service and policies at this location. Based on my perception only, they have appeared to have fixed the issues. After I took a 6-8 week break, I decided to retry it as it’s the most convenient location for me (I had been going to another loccation after the bad service). I was hoping that maybe the root cause issues had been addressed, and it appears they have been. I waited until I revisited 8 more times before writing this updated review to make sure the improved service/food was consistent on each visit, and it has been.

My 4 star ratings above reflect my experience on my last 8 or so orders. I am holding back from 5 just because of my really bad experiences detailed below. If I get to 25+ visits with continual good service, food quality, and consistent serving sizes, and I have had one refund attempt due to a mistake/etc that doesn’t put the work on me to fix it with making phone calls. I still maintain they shouldn’t charge a credit card until the proper food is provided to the customer. The customer should not be required to call an 800 number, deal with AI agents, and sit in queues, and loose 15-30 minutes of their day when they could fixed it right at the store. This is a corporate policy issue.

PREVIOUS NEGATIVE REVIEW:

II have been a loyal customer of this location for the last two years. Historically I had 1 bad experience for every 9 good experiences, so I figured that was 90% success, which is good for a fast-food restaurant. I like the people here too, they have all been very nice. I am only posting a negative review now as there is some kind of structural issue here. They either have management issues, staffing issues, cash flow issues, or something. They don’t have reliable hours, you can order from the app when it says online ordering is available and show up and they tell you they are not open (why don’t they disable online ordering as they normally do that) and now I have to call Chipotle to be refunded? Same issue if you order something and they don’t have it, its on the customer to get the refund. They should not charge a credit card until they have successfully fulfilled the order. A customer should never have to do more work to get their money back after not providing the goods or services that was agreed on. Very poor business. I love the location of this Chipotle, but I have started to go to the one on Holt road just because this one isn’t reliable. In the last month i have had 5 bad experiences out of 8 tries and I only went that many time because I liked the people. At the very least they need to not be allowing mobile orders if they can’t fill them. It’s wasting a lot of their customers time to place an order, drive there just to be told they aren’t filling mobile orders or are not open and then to ask the customer to spend even more time to get a refund. I don’t understand how corporate and management think that is going to be considered good customer service.

I got a bag of chips for it to be the scraps of just the broken pieces.
I wanted a salad the the lady helping me signed because there was no greens on the line and she had to get them. A nice gentlemen went to take over my order and she just waived him to help me and stood at the end. I asked for the vinegarette since I got a salad and again signed because there was none readily available on the line.

10/7/24: The joint is small but had an efficient use of space. The food was plentiful & served by polite guys. The food tasted fresh. The place was clean. 2 entrances to drive in & out of the parking lot : 1 from Empire Blvd & 1 from Creek St., which is helpful. It’s great that Webster has two Chipotle eateries. It’s funny that this Chipotle is right next to a Taco Bell . I LOVE ❤️ sofritas! 12/23/24: With the burrito bowl , I always have enough for 2 meals.

Ordered online. Once I get my bowl it’s soup with barely any meat. Quality control needs to happen at this location because this is not the first time I’ve had issues here. And I’m usually not a picky person but this is crazy. Then to continue eating only to find “lettuce” that was literally a piece of seaweed. Just a waste of money.

Visited today at 3. It was busy and it seemed that some tasks were left undone while tending to the nonstop line and keeping the fixings ready to go. I was so impressed by the positive attitude of the small staff working together to get everyone served. We were greeted genuinely and attention given to our order that was impressive. We visit here about every 6 weeks. Food is consistent and it is what it is – simple, fresh, fast food.

This was the worst fast food/fast casual restaurant experience I’ve ever had. My Chipotle Lane order was set for 8:20 pm. I pulled in at 8:19 and there were approximately three cars ahead of me. It seemed like they had been waiting a while because the car in front of me pulled out of line, parked, and went in. I finally got my food at 8:39, after two different employees asked for the name of the order. Got home with both quesadillas and found one was missing all three sides. The other was missing 2 of the 3 sides (the rice was mixed into the quesadilla, which left room for hardly any meat – it was mostly rice and cheese. It was also exceptionally greasy). The quesadillas were also mixed up in the containers (each container had half and half of the two different quesadillas). During the previous visit at this location they forgot one order of chips (which luckily I caught and drove around to get the second bag).

Something is deeply wrong with this location. I went once. Few weeks ago to pick up an online order and it was not even started 45 mins after it was due to be done. As I was waiting I watched on of the girls transfer lettuce with bare hands. The staff was wildly rude. I had to cancel my ordered online. Figuring I’d give a second chance I went today and a sign was on the door saying closed until 4pm…it was 4:50pm and the doors were locked and the staff just stared. I will not be returning. Chipotle needs to clear house at this location.

Tracy at the drive window is the star of that store. The most polite and warming person ive ever encountered at any chain. Please keep her no matter what you have to do. Instead of driving home wondering how botched my order usually is that interaction alone if my food is completely messed up I wouldn’t care. Customer Service you dont see anymore ANYWHERE.

I genuinely like Chipotle’s food, but this location makes it almost impossible to enjoy it. The most frustrating issue? They never open on time. If your posted hours say 10:30 AM, then your doors should be open at 10:30 AM not 10:45, not 11:00, and definitely not “whenever the staff decides they feel like it.” This isn’t a rare occurrence; it’s every single time. You’ll see customers waiting outside while employees casually move around inside as if the schedule doesn’t apply to them. Looking at the Google page seems they updated there hours a week ago to noon. This makes sense now for my latest experience however I can count on both hands the amount of times I’ve been here in the last year that it wasn’t open at noon and just opened whenever.

And when they finally open late, they still aren’t ready. Somehow the extra time of “prep time” never results in actual prep being done. It’s normal to walk in and see empty pans, no rice ready, no meats finished, veggies still cooking in the back, basically the entire line missing half the ingredients. You end up waiting longer inside even though they just opened late. It’s almost impressive how consistently unprepared they are.

On top of that, the staff always looks like they absolutely hate being there. Zero energy, zero urgency, and often an attitude that makes you feel like you’re inconveniencing them by ordering food. Not rude, necessarily just completely disengaged, annoyed, and unfriendly. Combine that with the constant delays and missing ingredients, and the whole experience feels like a chore.

The saddest part: the food itself is good when they finally have everything ready. But everything leading up to it, the late openings, the unprepared line, the lack of professionalism, completely destroys the experience. I keep hoping the location will improve, but it’s been the same every visit.

If you like Chipotle and value your time (or just want a normal customer experience), go to literally any other location. This one is reliably disappointing.

They will ignore you when you show up to the drive thru and lock the doors to prevent you from entering the restaurant, even after accepting your money for an online order. Do not waste your time, or you’ll end up stuck in a 20-something minute chat with customer care trying to get a refund.
