Visited the Chipotle location today (December 29, 2025) around 3:00 PM and had hands-down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any fast-food chain. The burrito wasn’t even the worst part—it was the complete lack of basic customer service and professionalism that made it unbearable.
I watched as the heavy-set male employee (the only one working the line at that moment) assembled my burrito. By the time he was folding it, the tortilla was already tearing badly along one side. I politely pointed it out and asked if he could please rewrap it in a fresh tortilla since it was clearly falling apart before I even left the counter. His response? A flat, rude: “If you want a new one, you’ll have to go to the back of the line.”
There were easily ten people already in line behind me waiting to order. He said this with zero apology, zero attempt to fix it, and honestly zero eye contact—like I was inconveniencing him by expecting a burrito that wouldn’t disintegrate in my hands. I stood there stunned for a second, then just took it because I wasn’t about to wait another 20–30 minutes in a growing line for something that should have taken ten seconds to correct.
Got home, unwrapped what was left of it, and it was a total mess. The burrito wasn’t even properly rolled—it was basically just loosely folded, then sliced straight down the middle (why??), so everything immediately spilled out. Rice, beans, chicken, salsa, sour cream—everywhere. It was impossible to eat without making a complete disaster of my table, my hands, and my clothes. I’ve had Chipotle dozens of times and never once had a burrito this poorly made.
The staff here (at least this guy) are unprofessional, disrespectful, and clearly couldn’t care less about the people they’re supposed to be serving. No pride in the product, no basic courtesy, no willingness to fix an obvious mistake they made themselves. For the price we pay, this level of indifference is insulting.
Zero stars if I could give it. Avoid this location at all costs—especially if this particular employee is working. You’ll regret it.
This is a location I’ve used many times before however this was the first time I’ve had a problem with my food order.
The location is the usually Chipotle decor with nothing much but normally is minimalistic. There wasn’t many people there (not crowded) she didn’t recall if they had music playing.
We ordered two burrito bowl orders one with carne asada and the other with chicken. The service was good and the portions were also good. The one thing my wife noted was that they ran out of rice for the first bowl and had to go to the back to bring more rice in a tray. So my order’s bowl had rice from the new batch that was brought from the back. Overall all the ingredients were okay. But the white rice contain semi uncooked/hard rice so with each bite I bit into hard rice grains. What I can also say is that my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law and anyone else’s orders got rice from the new tray. I asked my wife who dined in and she said her order, along with her sister’s and husband’s, and their mother’s orders had the same problem with hard rice. It was not all the rice in my bowl but I would say out of each bite I had 10 or more grains of rice that were hard which made the meal inedible.
I have to say most of the time this location doesn’t have this problem. But it has happened occasionally. This was during the evening after 5pm so I’d probably not go here later in the evening. I’ve been there during the day time afternoon 1-3pm and those times it was no problem.
*NOTE: Checked with my brother-in-law who lives close by and he stated that this has been happening lately – so it’s a consistent problem for locals by this Chipotle and not a one time occurrence… sad, because when I visit his family or am in the area I often use to go there.
In hindsight, I should have just walked out.
They didn’t offer any discounts.
Worst of all, they will ALWAYS inform you of the missing ingredients AFTER they start making your meal. And then act offended when you cancel your order midway through.
Either put up a sign of a missing ingredient at at the begining of the line or train your staff to inform customers before ordering.
