My son has had the children’s tacos and likes it. I always have to ask for a little more beef as they never give enough for the 2 tacos. I had my first meal yesterday carne asada. It looked great in the photo with the steak. When I received it, it was the same amount of the id as my son’s taco. I told the young girl I never ate here before. Mentioned what I wanted. To build my own. I probably shouldn’t have gotten it. It was disappointing, hardly any steak to add in the shell. The staff taking orders are always slow. And always. Make sure they hardly put enough in the plates.

Been in the area for 3 yrs, i hardly see them stocked up. Doesn’t matter what time of the evening you go, i have tried going 6pm ,7pm, 8pm,9pm they are ALWAYS out of something. I’m sick of going there just for the employees to say “we are out of that”. The only reason i still go here just coz i don’t want to drive 15 miles to get to another chipotle. No wonder the rating sucks

Placed my order through the app. Received what I ordered. However, wish they would add more protein than what they are giving out. It’s not enough for a bowl. It’s mostly just filled with rice and lettuce (if you get that). Sometimes I question if it’s worth what I’m paying for. Overall, the food tasted good.

I’m honestly really surprised to see so many bad reviews over my favorite chipotle in the state. I feel offended. I’m genuinely disgusted. I hope anyone who reads this before writing another bad review truly understands how hard each member of this staff works. And then reconsider posting your bad review. Talk to a human being first and find a compromise or an explanation before tearing into these dedicated chipotle employees online. I’m a local and I’ll admit that I’m somewhat biased but it seems as though everybody’s got this chipotle confused with a 3 Michelin star restaurant.
Food, service, atmosphere. It’s pretty simple. It’s not meant to be complex.
Food: it’s the most dependable in the fast food space. You know it. Sometimes we don’t even call it “fast food.” But after eating here since they opened their doors, the only knock I’ve EVER had to give was finding a stem cap or pedicel from an avocado in my bowl from time to time … woah … somebody better call the authorities. The audacity to find natural ingredients in my food (heavy eye-roll) … and you’re welcome for teaching you what that thing is on an avocado. The food is always great. Portions are good and I never leave hungry.
Service: first I want to say thank you to all the staff who make everything possible and take me and my fiancé’s orders on a weekly (almost daily) basis. Here’s what I’ll ask — did the employee hustle and did they appear to be trying their best? Did they smile and greet you? Ask you how you’re doing? Did they speak clearly with a bright and approachable voice when asking what you want on your bowl or in your burrito? Did they follow proper food handling guidelines? Did they keep the place clean? If they’re out of napkins, utensils, etc. are they quick to restock it? Did they change the trash regularly before it’s overfilled? The chipotle in Newton does a damn good job and checks every box. In fact, I’ve noticed them make the necessary changes for their location and clientele. Let me explain. My fiancé and I find ourselves eating dinner at ridiculous hours of the night pretty regularly. And thank god we have chipotle to rely on. But way back when in the early days of this chipotle, they would run out of ingredients and chips at later hours. Once they started seeing that there are some crazy people in Newton who eat at 10:30pm, they upped their inventory. They made sure to meet our demands. That’s what I call a good business that’s in touch with their community. Obviously it’s smart on their part to make more sales, but they’re really here. They really want to keep improving and keep making their customers happy.
Atmosphere: it’s the cleanest chipotle I’ve ever sat in … and I hardly EVER sit down in chipotle, but this one? I will. Most other locations always have grimy tables, food all over the floor, messy napkin/plasticware/straw stations, garbage overflowing from the cans … not this place. And to be quite honest, I truly believe that the regulars really notice and understand how hard the staff works to keep the place looking fresh and clean that it rubs off on us. The music is never too loud in the dining area and it’s always poppin. Whoever’s got the aux knows what’s good.
Lastly: I just want to give some more flowers to the staff. We live in the apartments across the parking lot and I don’t think customers understand how hard these people really work. They’re there until 2 o’clock in the morning most nights keeping things up to code, cleaning the place from top to bottom and making sure there’s enough food ready for service the following day. All those jokes on social media about the opener and closer in the restaurant/bar/hospitality industries. They could do a whole series dedicated to this chipotle. They’ve been BATTLING being understaffed ever since they opened and I genuinely appreciate all the blood, sweat and tears each employee puts into making this place special. I smudged it out a little, but they even started writing “thank you!” on my bowls. No. Thank YOU, Chipotle of Newton!

I went today and ordered 4 bowls, two of them with white rice. When I tried them, they were extremely salty, completely inedible, something that has never happened to me at other locations. When I approached the cashier to explain this, she asked me, “What do you want?” and then simply turned around and walked away. After a while, she came back and served me two new bowls, but the amount of protein was minimal, very different from what is usually served, and the attitude of both her and her coworker was very rude. I felt this was my worst experience at Chipotle, and because of the staff’s mistake, my family and I ended up eating all 4 bowls cold.

I have been here more than 8 times now and EVERY SINGLE TIME something isn’t available. There is a 75% chance that something you want in your burrito they dont have. If you want a steak burrito with rice, beans, pico, guac, and cheese they will be out of at least one or two of these ingredients. Tables are never clean and trash is always full. On top of them missing items the ones they have look like they were left from the day before. Steak or chicken is dry and the pico is soup. Stop understaffing this place.

Honestly I give this one the benefit of the doubt every time. Skimpy skimpy portions. Get charged for double protein when there’s maybe 8 total pieces of steak in the bowl. The employees all seem nice but there’s this manager or so I assume who hovers them while they’re working that they seem intimidated of. Very rude. The cahiser had rung me up correctly ( I get the same thing every time) but must have rang the person in front of me up wrong and the total was right until she jumped over their shoulder and pushed buttons to make up the difference from the last order. So a steak bowl that’s usually $14 ended up being $22. I think this place might stand a chance if the manager or owner stops being a cheap you know what with an attitude. Train your employees right without an attitude and you could probably keep an employee long enough for them to learn what they’re doing. A 2.7 star review for a chipotle is pretty sad considering it’s a huge franchise. I’ve been to many of them and this HAS to be the worst location

4/10/24 Just ordered a salad and the dressing was way less than usual. I asked for more and the manager was rude and tried to lie to me about the amount being less than usual. So she gave me a new container w twice the amount of dressing and I showed her. She lied and said she saw no difference and I said that I’d weigh it later to show her it’s a huge difference and she said “have fun”. Sarcastic and nasty over what? Anyway I weighed the supposedly perfectly pre measured containers she claimed all had 2 oz of dressing in. Then I cleaned one out and weighed the container. The container is 0.2 oz. The second container of dressing contained 1.7 oz of dressing and the first one the rude manager swore had 2 oz had exactly 1 oz. Chipotle is getting worse and worse. Not worth going anymore. I wasn’t even mad at this woman. I simply asked for more dressing and she had a bad attitude immediately lecturing me that’s how much it always is. When I explained I get this all the time and it’s never this little she argued again. These nasty fast food workers need to learn how to treat people, and also not be so chincy w a stupid sauce.

They never have a full selection of meats. They are always out of something. Zero juices and my rice was completely undercooked. $20 right in the trash. And this is every single time. I haven’t had one good meal here yet.

I feel like there was a time where Chipotle was known for having giant burritos and they’ve become smaller throughout the years — but not here!! Got a truly giant burrito that harkens back to the glory days. Great store!
