I immediately knew I wasn’t going to order anything but I stayed in line to get a better look and to see if anyone was going to come and clean the tables, chairs, floor, garbage and counter (where you get napkins and utensils). Not one person came to the dining area to clean up the mess the entire time I was in line.
When I got to the counter to place an order, I asked to speak to the manager. I told the guy that said he was the manager that the condition of the store was unacceptable and that I couldn’t believe that anyone would want to eat there. He said they were really busy and did not have time or anyone to go and clean the dining area. I said “you need to do it!” I told him that cleaning a dining area that looked like there was a food fight or that looked like a bomb hit it, should be a priority. I asked him to come and see the tables and he came from behind the counter and looked. He went back but not to get wipes, broom, trash bags, etc. He went on working as if nothing was said to him. I left and waited to see if anyone was going to come and clean. Nope!
The reviews going back 8 months have the same complaints and pictures. Obviously the owner does not care because the only response to the MANY complaints is “reach out to us so we can help!” Why would the owner expect someone to reach out to them instead of going in there, managing the place, cleaning that place up or shutting it down!
I have eaten here many times always takeout. What is concerning, I’ve noticed on my last two visits that the counters are horrendous and dirty with food droppings and smears all across the counters. As each order is being made the food is dropping all over the food station. The food is open not covered so its exposed to germs and cross contamination. The counters are only wiped
if a customer request it to be clean and to add insult the towel is dirty and spears are still left. Its horrible on the other side where the mobile orders are prepared its definitely a lot of health & safety violations going on. Its a bad representation of the quality of environment and misrepresentation of What is advertised. The floors has food everywhere and tables throughout the restaurant is dirty and garbage is constantly overflowing me. It is my recommendation to use the common sense rule. New manage is needed to come put together a comprehensive action plan to represent the franchise products sold and overall environment atmosphere. There is a immediate need for teaching proper food and health & safety compliances. PROPER FOOD HANDLING. CROSS CONTAMINATION AWARENESS.
Whomever the manager of Clark location
in my opinion should be sent to managerial training or fired immediately. Time to reshuffle the board and train staff and clean up this location. Starting with Full overhaul of the grill and stove area and vents. New garbage cans, New disposible microfiber cleaning cloths for food counter station.
Staff should change gloves after serving especially if soiled with food. Frequent disinfecting the tables and chairs. Keeping floor food free.
As a customer if I can see this and recommend these changes it says a lot about the internal intellectual culture efforts of representing the franchise brand which equal poor management.
The smoke brisket hit this time. Service was normal, tables were kinda dirty during the rush lunch hour, made it work anyway. Can do better in some area but food was good so that matters the most.
