I’ve been coming to this Chipotle since they first opened, and it’s usually our go-to restaurant in the area, especially for my kids. That’s why I was really disappointed with my experience today.
The lettuce being served for the bowls was visibly browning, which typically indicates it’s not fresh. That was concerning to me, especially considering Chipotle’s core slogan of “Food with Integrity.” I politely asked the gentleman serving us if there was fresher lettuce available, and he told me unfortunately all of the lettuce was like that. That honestly made me question the freshness of the rest of the food being served.
I still paid for my meal — I wasn’t looking for anything for free — but I did ask at the register to speak with a manager to share my concern. I was told the manager was unavailable and in a meeting. It honestly felt like the manager was avoiding speaking with me, which was very frustrating as a long-time, loyal customer simply trying to voice a legitimate concern.
Do better, Chipotle of Kearny. I’ve always liked this location and I’m willing to give you another chance, but food quality, transparency, and accountability really matter.

I arrived early, no biggie! ♀️ I tried to use my QR code for free chips but was told I needed to make a purchase. I’m placing an online/drive-through order, and my code didn’t work online. Then I was told if online redemption isn’t possible, it’s for in-store use only. I’m *in* the store, so why can’t I get my free chips with my QR code? I was told a purchase is required. Doesn’t an online/drive-through order still count as an in-store purchase? When I asked for a manager, I was told they already said the system wouldn’t allow it. Sorry, but if you’re the manager, I think you have the power to make it happen! The cashier was super nice and helpful, she offered a side, but I didn’t want one. Got home and realized my extra salad was missing too!

Soooooo goooooood!!!! The employees here are so so nice and the food was somehow even better!! I love Chipotle and this us by far the best one I’ve ever been to without a doubt. They gave me a free tortilla!!! I got the bowl but they gave me a tortilla with it for free just because they felt like it and they are so nice! Delicious!!

I ordered a quesadilla meal for my daughter from Chipotle and was really disappointed with the quality. The cheese inside was not melted at all it was completely raw and ungrilled. A quesadilla is supposed to be hot and melted, so this was honestly unacceptable. It seemed like it was barely heated or not prepared properly. I usually expect better consistency, so this experience was frustrating. I hope more care is taken in preparing orders in the future. I will not be returning.

Let me start by saying the manager Milly was really good, she was the most easy going and attentive. I seen her prep food, helped customers on the line and also was assisting take outs. My only issue was the girl in the front and the take out section.

The girls doing the take out can’t keep their station in order, half way through my burrito it got spicy and I didn’t order anything spicy so I’m convinced they are mixing food up by how they handle it.

Also the app went from order placed to complete, it didn’t go to preparing, I don’t know if they are the ones in control of that but if I wasn’t there then my food would have been cold.

Your staff including Supervisors need training. Establishment needs to be cleaned as you go through out the day. Being Courteous is a MUST leave your personal attitudes and your personal life issues at the door before entering! We just want clean fresh food served by nice people!

Ordered several burrito bowl last night and was shocked at how little steak was in it—just a few tiny pieces buried under the toppings. For the price, this is unacceptable. I’ve had this item before and the portion was never this stingy. Very disappointed.

Came here on a Friday evening. The soda machine didn’t work except coke and another soda. Once trying to dispense it the soda was very watered down. The staff gave us a soda from the fridge which was very appreciated. Food was good!

I stopped in after shopping at BJ’s, there wasn’t many ppl inside on a rainy day. Service was polite and speedy. I didn’t like the fact that I was asked to pay for an extra dressing (that’s nearly full) for my Veggie Salad, I must add that this is the most I’ve paid for a Veggie Salad this year from the whole Chipotle franchise.(W/O the extra 1.50 for extra salad dressings) I don’t come in often, but if I was hungry and in the area. I’d stop in again.

I barely have any chicken & the rice is hard.
Pure Garbage!!!
I can make brown rice at home.
