Tables are filled with dirty napkins, the garbage is overflowing and the drink station is discussing. Chipotle should be ashamed of this restaurant and the manager should be held to task.
1) Dysfunctional online ordering. The app will tell you your order is ready and you’ll still be sitting for 15 minutes waiting for your order because they have no system in place to process or handle online orders. You will sit in a sea of other customers and Uber eats drivers angrily trying to get someone to see if your order is ready because they ask about one person every 5 minutes when they ring up one customer every 2-3 minutes. You’re better off waiting in line and getting your food as opposed to ordering ahead.
2) Uncaring staff. Most of the crew is slow and sloppy in how they work. Your burrito won’t be streamed long enough and will fall apart. If you have an issue with an order, they struggle to communicate in English and your issue doesn’t get addressed. You can’t order what you want without pointing because terms like corn salsa, pico, and lettuce aren’t understood.
3) Incorrect orders: regardless of what you order, you will get a big glob of rice with minimal lettuce or vegetables. I recently ordered a salad and received about 6 strips of lettuce at the bottom of a container smothered in a mountain of rice. This is after ordering light rice….. EVERY SINGLE TIME…I honestly don’t think they read the order or they don’t understand it. Once or twice isn’t a big deal because things happen, but this is the 4th time in row now that the order isn’t even close to what was placed in an online app where there is no issue in verbal communication.
4) Mediocre food quality. The food isn’t bad. I’ve never had a bad experience, but it’s gone from being good to just okay. And no, this isn’t personal tastes changing. Other Chipotle sites are still delicious. This one is just okay though. The way they roll the burritos is awful and their ratios are way off. The taste is fine but not as good as it was a year or two ago.
In summary, I highly encourage you to avoid this location. Save your time, energy, and money and simply go elsewhere or to a different Chipotle I hope they change and improve back to the great option I used to go to for lunch or dinner, but they turned me off to the point I’m out. I recommended you do the same until they drastically improve and have some semblance of standards.
