Unfortunately, not your typical Chipotle. The opportunity to dine at Chipotle is truly an experience, considering the fresh food, cleanliness, friendly hosts. Nevertheless, this Chipotle disappoints… take out food indicated that food was ready for pick-up, but upon arrival food was not ready and had to wait an additional 15 minutes, before food was actually ready. Three other customers arrived and were also waiting…
Per the pictures, the place was a bit disorganized, tables appear wiped with dirty rags, counters and floors dirty.
There were four people behind the counter, all who could’ve been organizing the place, as service was slow. A fifth person was fixing take out orders.

Place still dirty, garbage cans were overflowing and table dirty. I was there and people in the line were talking about the place. For the past 3 months they saying that there’s no received for proof of purchase.

I went in today at 8:30pm to grab me some food. Tara was the only one up front working. Me another customer waited patiently while she was finishing up the other orders. It started getting busy. She was still the only one upfront, but that didn’t stop her. She was smiling the whole time taking the other orders. She wanted to let me and the other customer know that she can multitask, but we all take your time. You’re OK. You’re doing a great job. Gotta say chipotle you got an epic employee.

Worst service I have received at a chipotle. Ordered a steak, white rice, queso, sour cream and cheese burrito with door dash and paid for the expedited delivery due to being home sick. When I got the burrito it did not seam to have steak as well as having tomato’s and onions in the burrito. When I went into the store the sir behind the register was helpful and immediately wanted to fix the order however the lady said wait for me to make it. She then did not say a word to me made the burrito placed it behind the register so that the male had to bag it and give it to me. No questions on why it was wrong, no questions on what to make it right, there was no communication. I paid to have a service then had to go out of my way while being sick to get the service I paid for. I will not be ordering food for this store again.

Big guy at the register spends way too much time trying to be the coolest kid at Chipotle. I just wanted a receipt so I could figure out why my sons basic bowl cost almost $18. Customers shouldn’t feel like they are bothering employees or interrupting story time when they just want to ask a simple question. His response, “receipt machine isn’t working”. Objectively, this is one of the best Chipotles in the area. The food is generous, they don’t forget guacamole on to-go orders. The staff are friendly. It’s my go to chipotle.
Now for the seating: yes it’s dirty. The seating area is always unkept. It’s not ideal, and I agree with a lot of the other comments saying there seems to be enough staff to accommodate clean seating. This is just an unfortunate reality at this location. I usually pick up so I don’t mind. And it’s certainly not a reason to give 1 star. But they do lose a star for that reason.

Food is delicious. I ordered a kids quesadilla with chicken and the portions were amazing for the price, ONLY 5.80!! It is was pretty large!! We went 15 minutes before closing (I’m so sorry, I hate being that person) but the service was fantastic. The two women greeted us nicely and were kind the entirety of the time we were there. They also had every option still available when we got there. For only $14 my boyfriend got a huge bowl with a lot of food. That man never gets full but he still had a few bites left. If I could give 10 stars I would.!! Only complaint was the music was too loud, I felt bad for the employees lol hopefully they aren’t prone to headaches.

I just left the Chipotle I visited around 8 PM tonight, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had there. I waited over 15 minutes just to order, even though there was only one person ahead of me. There were at least six employees standing around, none of whom seemed in any rush to help.
When I finally got to order, I was told they didn’t have carne asada — the only reason I went there in the first place. On top of that, the staff had visibly bad attitudes and acted like customers were a bother instead of the reason they’re employed.
If management happens to see this, I’d highly recommend checking who was scheduled around 8 PM and seriously consider some customer service retraining. This location is giving the brand a bad name. The back where they were making food was also dirty.

My first time visiting this Chipotle location was yesterday, 2/4/24. I was looking forward to having chipotle at this Norwich location, however I was severely disappointed. Firstly, the customer service is lacking. A male employee who packaged our orders was very rude and unprofessional to myself as well as one of my family members who has special needs and requires a little bit more time than others to make a decision on what to eat. The place was empty when we came in (so we were not holding anyone up). After receiving the food and paying, I noticed that not only was the dining area absolutely filthy but the soft drink tap was coming out as straight water for coke, root beer, and lemonade. The meat was cold and I found multiple pieces of dark hair in my rice. I’m disappointed and concerned at the cleanliness of this location.
